Oh man. First the razor blades in his throat, some others on his head, and the boss is still able to talk normally and mocking Aerosmith? YEEEES, PLOT-ARMOOOOR.

Aaaand every week he's here to fulfill the dumbass-post-of-the-week quota, it's almost admirable.

No he wasn't. Risotto just made the idiot playing like Iluso. And if you that quiting a scisor from your throat, and having razor blades spreading in your head and still be able to speak normally is not plot-armor, then you proooved to have no idea of how much plot-armor this part has.

It just works. JoJo is filled with ridiculous bullshit but it's entertaining af so most people don't really care about most "araki forgot" moments.

Don't feed the weekly troll.

Amazing episode, btw. They did justice to my favorite fight from this Part. Based DP.
My only complain is that they cut some of Risotto's lines thinking about Bucciaratti and the gang.

I think them removing that line actually worked better in the anime's favor. Risotto saying he was going to kill Buccellati's group doesn't make sense, remember, as Prosciutto said, an Assassin never says he's going to kill his opponent because by that point the job should already be done.

Fight was gory as hell, was constantly looking over my shoulder because my dad was dozing in the background and he might notice all that blood lol

I remember Jotaro surviving a dozen or so knives piercing his skin, while also stopping his heart from beating for a good minute without losing consciousness. As for Joseph, he survived a volcanic eruption. Jonathan survived his limbs being frozen multiple times. Not that there's anything wrong with accumulating these injuries, it's just there because the rule of cool.

And don't forget Stroheim surviving a bomb at point-blank range. And in this part we have the following:
- Surviving a shootout with none of the enemy bullets touching you (Mista).
- Surviving a virus that after infecting your body in 30 seconds kills you, having it for about 5 minutes (Giorno)
- Being shot three times in the head and taking out the bullets, remaining in that state for more than 10 minutes, and recover completely out-of-screen (Mista)
- Being pierced by a punch, cracked by a karate-like blow, and still be able to move quite normal (Bruno). PD: Kakyoin suffered the same, and he died after making his last effort.
- Being bitten in the throat and still be able to talk (Narancia).
- Having razorblades going through your throat, quiting a scisor with your hand, having bigger razorblades in your head, and still be able to talk normal (Doppio)

The truth I can't believe it, the tremendous way to ruin everything. I love them but I felt they were useless, just when Risotto had victory in his hands, Narancia appears without even finding out something and kills him ...................... ....................................... He even gave me anger, because he did not appeared before? But of course, he just finds it when Doppio is almost dead ... indignation T_T And well, Risotto could not take all the glory, Giorno's group has to kill him haha

Anyway, it's so unexpected, I liked it a lot.

Oh, that's right. I was also talking about when he thinks he should hurry up and go to them to learn what information they're getting, but since he already suspects Doppio to be the boss, he wouldn't need it anymore.

yeah it does kind of feel like he got sliced up to high hell but only looked like he got a few cuts on his cheek overall.

That boss is cunning, true villain style. I wouldn't have thought he would use Narancia's Lil bomber to kill Risotto, that was evil genius at work. No wonder he is the boss of a mafia.

The dude is so incredible that he was able to run the organization without ever been seen, even that old man killed himself for him without seeing him. He is the best villain I've ever seen in my anime history.

When are you people gonna learn to stop arguing with that dumbass. He pulls the same crap every week for attention, he even admitted so in this very thread, just stop responding to him.

It was nice to see La Squadra again, but the flashback was sort of just there to be honest. But it was really quick at least, so not a big deal.

That might be the most impressive fight in JoJo to date in terms of a complete package - direction/animation/character art/color design. If not, it's for sure top 3. It's definitely the goriest, and they barely censored anything apart from Risotto's leg. Probably my favorite episode of the part thus far, that was great. I just hope the last couple of fights can receive similar treatment.

Also I'm a little confused on Epitaph (Eulogy)'s ability. From what i'm gathering, Bossu's Epitaph lets him see 10 seconds of the target's movements, but Doppio's lets him see an unchangeable future of whatever he experiences then?

From my understanding:

Epitaph let you see the future, basically. It is just a premonition of what kt is going to happen (the main reason of Bossu's "invincibility) however, King Crimson let you change that future because you are erasing it, doing something in the middle while time is passing it, and then cut it to your favor.

So let's put it simpler: You have edited a video and you know what is going to happen in 10 seconds (epitaph), you don't like it, so you use King Crmson to delete that and just leave the result of what you did (erase the leap).

Also I am sorry if my explanation was bad, but there is going to be more KC bullshit in the future.
Ah, thanks. Great explanation, imo.

Risotto's Metallica is OP he nearly won. Great episode but it didn't have that classic JoJo tension - probably because we've not seen enough from Risotto to care but I just think the Boss doesn't hold a candle (well, yet) to Yoshikage Kira, when Kira first appeared, shit got real. Kira has that charisma and swagger about him, he brings an intense presence on screen, like Dio. I haven't got that feeling from the Boss yet.

Interesting take, as I feel we got that from him in his fight against Bruno and everything that happened there. Bruno would be dead right now if not for Giorno. The boss' stand, to me anyway, is more intimidating than Kira's initially was(before he got Bites the Dust). Plus we've seen what he does to his subordinates who cross him (Sorbet and Gelato in episode 10).

I feel like you have the wrong mindset when watching JoJo, or maybe JoJo just isn’t something you should watch.
If plot armor and plot holes make you feel this bad, then I’ll tell you: every single part in JoJo has plot armor and holes, like Joseph surviving the Divine Sandstorm and falling down from space almost, Jotaro stopping his heart, having magazines in his clothes to stop knives, resurrecting Joseph, Josuke fixing a kid who literally exploded and they will continue in future parts.

You should approach JoJo with a ”that’s bullshit but I believe it” mindset, and not take it too seriously. It’s the same thing with Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, if you’re just thinking ”it’s impossible to move giant robots with the energy of some weird spiral power which doesn’t even exist, lol plot hole” then you probably won’t enjoy it.

Also, you’re clearly bitching here after every episode only to get attention and cause confusion and anger. You’re (probably) a grown up man so do what you do I can’t stop you, but please, if you don’t have anything to bring to the discussions other than trolling, don’t comment anything.

Dude what are you talking about? Go rewatch the episode. The boss thrown 3 scalpels at the Bucciaratti gang so they thought there was an enemy nearby. That is why Aerosmith notice Risotto and kill the guy since he is the only breathing human in that area.

That was definitely the best episode of Golden Wind yet!!! The amount of levels of strategy going on there by the end was insane, the way all the different abilities linked together so that the outcome Doppio saw still came true was so cool! The voice acting for Doppio is amazing and it was really refreshing seeing 2 enemies fight each other rather than Giorno/ Gio Bros fighting one of x many assasins.

Since when flashbacks that are misplaced and doesn't add anything new are plot-holes? And if you think that the instances of plot-armor in this part can be excused as rule of cool, you're wrong, because the characters are certainly not cool on their own. And because of the pacing and the akward presentation, you can't care about them when they die.

with that logic the entire buccellati's gang should be dead at this point.

Not necessarily. It was a simple analogy that came to me when I remembered some main characters of Akame Ga Kill as Bulat and Sheelee, who in the episode that a flashback of them is presented is the episode in which they die. It's a trick used to make you retroactively care for the character. But here it won't work because Risotto didn't have a decent amout of focus on him as a character. And by the way, Bruno technically is the one who should be dead.

JeXxTaR said:

the boss can increase his musculature, his body isn't exactly normal.

But he can't increase the muscles of his throat and head, because it would be weird that he didn't do it if he was able to do it. And it still doesn't excuse how is he able to speak normal, because Risotto's ability use the iron on your blood.

Yea, people who are angry/frustrated with Narancia: he shot down a guy who, from their perspective, was an enemy who tried to kill them (and would've probably tried it later too).
Narancia did nothing wrong.
