| I though the first minutes with the Doves fighting against all those Ghouls from Aogiri while the chairman from the CCG was giving his speech was just an introduction to the arc, then it turns out they adapted 10 chapters straight of that scenes. Wew, the rush is real. This is going to be an utter trainwreck, isn't? |

| I don't know if there is a point in watching this mess. I haven't read TG:re so I have absolutely no idea what was happening. Are they even making this season for anybody? Those who only watch anime won't understand a thing, and those who read the manga most likely won't enjoy a butchered story. |

| I'm glad I read the entire manga after season 1 of :re, now i can watch this ironically and laugh at the adaptation. I swear this episode contained about 30 chapters of content, 20 of the Rushima arc into a montage at the beginning and the entire setup of the Cochlea raid. TG season 1 was decent and re: season 1 did a passable job, but this is just going to go right down the drain |

| Damn, what a rushed episode this was! Even as a manga reader, it was hard to tell which arc was being adapted and to even tell the characters apart initially. It made things a little intense of sorts though, so I’ll be looking forward to seeing the next episode with the Op and ED. Sorry Natsuki-san, but I don’t think I’ll be able to enjoy this Season of a Tokyo Ghoul:re either. |

| It’s really bizarre. For a show that is adapting completed source material and has been given 4 seasons, how have they managed to screw it up so badly? It’s trying to tell a completed story and isn’t one of those anime that essentially act as a long commercial for the manga, so it should tell the story right. It’s also a hot property that’s been adapted into games, live action, prequels, and light novels, so there really isn’t a good reason for it to be a rush job. Either do it right or don’t do it at all. (And like everyone else, I would love for them to redo the anime and properly adapt the manga, but I would also laugh my ass off seeing how much extra coin they can squeeze out of it.) |

| After the previous season this just made no sense to me. As a non manga reader I had to research myself because the whole time I thought I missed something in the story but no, they skipped an arc. That is such a pity and I guess many anime watchers will be confused by this. |

| My gosh, I had to open TG wiki every time a name comes out, because it's really confusing. I think I get the gist of the story from the spoilers of the characters wiki, but damn I really wish this anime could've been made properly. |

| Hmm so the next arc is the Rushima landing operation arc. Eto's reveal of her true face was quite brazen. The insight into how she started out as a writer was quite interesting though. Eto's wish though was a powerful one though and one that was certainly heretical in society. Her last book though certainly revealed an interesting conspiracy though. Eto not being fazed by Furuta's actions was impressive. Interesting episode that produced some game changing revelations with regards to Eto and Sasaki's lives while featuring some good look into the past. A good return to the series. |
