Are lolicons and pedophile different?
| I mean a lolicon is someone who loves a 13-14 year old fictional anime girl. As for a pedophile, I think we all know the definition. Anyway, no offense to anyone. I am just curious. What makes a pedophile different from a lolicon (Are their mentalities same)? Btw I do not know the answer to this question. Therefore, I am asking you guys. I am new to this loli anime thing lol |

If like older girls (puberty or older) there are different terms to describe this. Drawn/fictional stuff is different as well. People that like real life young girls might like young loli/hentai girls as well. And vice-versa. But that doesn't mean it is always the case. There are a lot of people that like the art style (drawn/fictional) much more and don't get turned on by real life girls. |

That means lolicon hasn't replaced the word pedophile in western societies and simply got it's own new meaning that involves anime. We have the same thing with anime. For Japanese anime is animation in general, for the western audience is Japanese animation only. We are very much allowed to use words however the fuck we like. And anime fans didn't try to change the words, the words changed like that naturally because we had different words and those became known threw Japanese animation so instead of replacing the words we have we simply made them have meaning when it comes to Japanese animation since we know them from there anyway. |
