| If you apply the laws from before the internet era, it was not unclear at all. Of course, some people could argue about it in court and avoid a too harsh judgement but only by playing on words. But it was still illegal: you don't have to make and write in the Code a law about stealing an egg if there was already a law about stealing... In other words, it changed nothing apart maybe allocating a specific sentence/amend to this case in particular. @codephat It was, always has been and still is. No matter if the cultural product license is owned by a company in the country or not. |
