That is if Tappei-sensei manages to keep up his 1-2 month release pace which I'm confident in. I think you should expect some major news regarding the anime around the time the MF Summer festival happens. |

At the recent Sugoi Awards in which Re:Zero won the two categories of anime and light novel the producer Tanaka ( who was actually the person that pushed the series to a point where it got its anime project greenlit ) confirmed that while the original ( novel ) is still ongoing the anime will continue as well and we should expect future performances. They actually put his quote on an advertisement for the series so here if you need visual confirmation |

Anime adaptation announcements have next to no impact on sales, and both these series have been doing well for some time before the adaptations were announced. That said, adaptations can boost sales of new volumes slightly up to a month or so before they start airing, and Akashic Records does seem to be doing better than the last couple of volumes, both of which narrowly missed out on 20k sales. |
