| I see that not many people have high opinions on fujoshis, especially now after the Crunchyroll anime awards many seem to downright hate on them saying that "they're the cancer of the anime community" or at least that's what i've been seeing recently. Personally i have nothing against them, and i'm kind of neutral when it comes to this, but i want to ask what you guys think of them, what are your thoughts on fujoshi's, do you hate them, like them, or are you just neutral about it ? |

| theyre pretty much the equivalent of someone like me... i hope they feel my struggle and realize what its like to have what you love constantly complained about when it comes to the fujoshi that never bashed ecchi, or female anime characters in general, i feel really bad for them when it comes to the ones that were always shit talking those things like the others... well they can get a good taste of karma... anyway, on the whole i can feel good that they have the kind of anime they want now, especially since its clearly not interfering with the shows i like the most if they sell the most, oh well.. w/e lol |

| I think people overestimate fujoshis. Yuri on ice isn't popular only with girls who like BL, otherwise plenty of yaoi anime would be just as popular but it's not. Besides did people seriously think an open poll decided by POPULAR vote was going to yield results that weren't simply a popularity contest? People just want someone to blame. There are creepy and overenthusiastic fans in every category of anime, not just fujoshis(their creepiness is the most common complaint that I hear). |

| When exactly can one be labeled as a fujoshi? I'm a fan of yaoi myself does that mean I'm automatically a fujoshi? And does that mean that half of the anime community hates me for what I like? All I see is hate hate hate in every yaoi based thread. "Rabid fangirls only voted for YOI because two guys kissed cri cri" If it was nominated just for the gayness, other fujo shows would be dominating every poll as well. But it didn't. You know why? Because most of them sucked ass. You know why YOI is dominating the polls? Because it's actually a good show. Ok back on topic: let people like what they like. They don't force you to watch yaoi, they're just enjoying something you don't and that's okay, we all have different tastes. I can imagine it can be annoying (I also think it can be annoying when the threads are filled with ecchi) but it's easy to ignore it and it's not like it's affecting my life at all. Let the fujo's have their moment. The hype will eventually blow over and maybe sooner or later a show of your taste will become popular too. |

| I don't care for them. Even after the rewards they are still irrelevant in my life. I am under the heavy belief that people were on the train and didn't remember anything that happened during the year. Also that there were like 7 anime that Crunchyroll watched and plenty of more factors to the rewards that made it not the greatest thing to take part of. Because let's be honest there aren't as many fujoshis as there are anime fans. So yeah there is what I think of them. The only real upsetting thing for me is best animation but that's another topic for another time. |

| I'm fine with fujoshis. Sure, there are some that are obnoxiously overzealous, but all fandoms have those kinds of fans. Frankly, I find the people that continuously bitch about fujoshis far more annoying then fujoshis themselves these days. The amount of hate directed towards the Crunchyroll Anime Awards results would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. It was just a silly little popularity poll that wasn't meant to be taken too seriously, but yet so many people lost their minds over it. Though I get the feeling that people don't really care about the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, rather they just want to use the poll results as an excuse to hate on YOI fans & fujoshis. |

The term uses the same kanji that is seen in 腐る, which means sour / rotting combined with the word for girl (joshi). And the two combined words only refers to girls that are into yaoi. | I try to ignore them but I can't stand talking to them because they are annoying and don't care about anything other than shipping characters.. I mean for one person I know the entire Attack on Titan was equivalent to ErenXLevi (Even though they hate each other) So 'Fujoshi are cancer to anime community' is not far from being wrong , But they are normally harmless and fortunately don't influence the industry much.. Oh and something amusing is that the character of a fujoshi in an anime does not stand out much and they are labelled as 'Normal Bystanders' .. A true Heroine is never a fujoshi (Something I learned From Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata) |
