I've been playing Tales of Xillia for 30 minutes and the world actually seems quite interesting. I've been wandering around talking to every single character.

I picked Jude because that girl's clothes were atrocious.

Playing the Jude route first is recommended because it's the "main" story. I never bothered to do Milla but that route kinda focuses on some background info that were skipped over in the Jude route

How does Ooima Yoshitoki do it. o_o
I'm guessing these were made a while back though, no way she's making these in a week, hell, it's already a lot for a monthly series.

And those last pages in the second chapter. o__o

it has diffulcty spikes here and there depending on bosses. But there are multiple diffulcty settings you can change at any time, it will make bosses far more aggressive with artes and multiplies health so you best learn to combo.

Also please tell me you chose jude as the mc. Cause if you chose milla you are in for an exponentially worse experience. Youll basically miss the entire 3rd act. It was a dumb gimmick done by baba to mask that xillia wasnt finished due to the studio closing down despite it being painfully obvious jude was the solo protagonist.

both routes are practically the same lmao
Very little differences, only the beginning and near the end you kind of see the difference
Milla's a bit shorter

eh Xillia's probably the easiest Tales game I've played (then again Ludger in 2 is all kinds of OP)
You can change the difficulty setting to ake it harder. Although i disliked the way they did that too. One of the reasons why I didn't Unknown run(finish w/ the hardest difficulty, something I do with Tales games) is because the enemies are Spongy AF, and there were barely any changes from the A.I. behavior from what I've seen. Made battles tedious.

Eternia is still probably the hardest Tales at the hardest difficulty.

zestiria is the easiest tales for me. I died once to a optional boss and thats it. The game was so poorly made every fight was just spamming elemental chains.

The Jude route's unique parts are better to see first so it is obviously recommended

Reminds me that Nereid Regulus is the only optional boss of Tales that I haven't beaten in a difficulty harder than normal.

Shits crazy. And his competitors from the other Tales games are fucking harder than dicks makes it all the more impressive. One taking me 2-3 hours to beat and another one being able to dish damage 200x your health
lmao

And also reminds me that I haven't done Unknown runs in Hearts R and Xillia 2

Hearts R looks promising in that regard, at least. Having the second best Tales gameplay and already being pretty challenging at hard difficulty.

Who cares? It's out now, and presumably up to date since Jump manga don't seem to fall behind when they get translated. That's all that matters.

Asides from the first chapter it's been pretty tame. The way it tried the whole bait and switch thing was really transparent though since it starts by introducing a happy go-lucky orphanage that's seperated from the rest of the world. A recipe for some really fucked up shit to happen (see: Monster, Seraph of the End, Kiznaiver, Zankyou no Terror or Death Note for reference). Try and imagine where something could go from there.

And as I said, I only found it edgy by Jump standards. Nothing like Dead Tube or Mahou Shoujo of the End if that's what you want. I also need to read more before I'm ready to pass judgement.

That's in Midtown/Upper East Side. I guess technically this place is Nordic as well http://neat-nyc.com/

Also for my money the best craft beer bar in the city has a Nordic restaurant in the back, the Executive chef is an alumnus from Noma, the famous restaurant in Copenhagen. Its also Michelin starred and crazy expensive @_@

Yea I'd love to go next time I'm in Copenhagen. If you haven't gone, I'd definitely recommend it, such a beautiful city.

Noma is famous for Molecular Gastronomy, which is why Alice from Souma specializes in that type of cuisine, I'm almost certain.

It's also where Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø, founder of Evil Twin in Brooklyn, got his start, being basically the beer sommelier. I'm drinking his Moltov Lite Imperial IPA right now.
