| I love how DEEN is bad at animating characters, but very good at animating the cabbage and snow sprites lol. I also like how the "romantic" hints is becoming more obvious now. When Darkness called Kazuma, we did not get to see Darkness' face. But they showed Megumin's close up face while blushing calling Kazuma, and the blushes is gone when she talked about the quest.  Then Megumin is the one who called him after Aqua revived him, also the ONLY one crying out of the 3 girls. I think Darkness is more relieved than crying.  Also hugging directly to Kazuma, usually in a harem, the MC would be hugged by 2 girls at the same time on left and right side. But this one only has Megumin and then Darkness hugs Megumin and Kazuma (signaling familial relationship)  Asking about Kazuma's condition then blushes of relief.  Well DEEN did a good job setting up the explosion ship. After all we're getting a very special drama CD too... |

| The "Kazuma desu" stuff never fails to crack me up. "maybe one with gross tentacles this time!" I don't think i need to say this yet again, but... THE DOUJINS THEY WRITE THEMSELVES Also, it was really cute how serious and concerned they were after Kazuma revived. Kind of a "aww, they do care!" moment. ...Except for Aqua, that is. Though i guess she's used to death. |

| Eris finally appeared and it was awesome-totally 2nd best girl right behind Megumin. Seems like Deen is picking up the pace next week which is a shame since the chapter they are skipping over is one of the better ones and sets up future characters. Really hope that they adapt all of the Mansion scene's from this volume. |

| Oh god, I'm going to die by the end of this anime! From laughing. Nice change of setting after the sunny days every episode. Those snow sprites are too cute! It acutally got a little serious there and Kazuma cried a bit... Then Aqua came in, and the mood was broken. "Kazuma! Kazuma!" "I'm Kazuma." "Kazuma! Kazuma!" Yes, I'm Kazuma." The dialogue in this anime is great! So are Kazuma's narrations and thoughts. The humor wasn't as good in this epsiode compared to the before episodes but I still got a laugh out of it. |
| Rather dull episode and a really ugly looking one as well. It wasn't a good looking series to begin with but character design deteriorated really badly this time. |

| Now that I think about it - When I read the part when Aqua releases those snow spirit in front of the winter shogun, I imagined that Aqua keeps her retarded traits. Which means, she did that out of fear (well, you know Aqua, she's such a toady :P) In this episode, Aqua actually sounded a bit more pompous and dignified like the goddess she is (not.) which is very out-of-character tbh. Don't know if it's the VA's mistake or director's choice. Probably the latter, considering a pro, one of the best rookie VA currently, in the class of Amamiya Sora, should not have make such a mistake. - The scene where Kazuma cries is original, I think. As I remember, both in the LN and manga, Kazuma had that flashback just before he was about to get reincarnated and did realize that he actually likes that world, but he didn't cry. Hmm... Aqua is given more dignity, while Kazuma is given a bit more sentimentality. One of the main point of the feminist supporters' complain is that how Aqua is mirrored like such a retarded girl. (which, actually, is true. That's the design of Aqua's character. It was from that retarded trait, too, did we get all those jokes =D) Hmm... does the director committee really fear that the complain of the feminist will hurt sales by that much? If that's the case, then that's so so s***. It shows that they are not confident... which, I think, is bad. Other than that: - As a keen eye or somebody without pretty high tolerance of bad visual may notice, everything about visual is going ever downhill. Hell, I think Tabi Machi has higher frame rate. :P - The scene where Kazuma was revived lost its heartwarming touch because it progresses too fast. In a more "advanced" word: the cinematography of that scene is horrible. |
