It closes up the vampire part neatly and jumps to the seraphs, iirc, according to Kagami the seraph chapter is about to start. The manga is far from over, it's a new arc beginning with the seraph as center, up until now it's been "vampire reign". I'm expecting Crowley to switch sides shounen style (please live Crowley). Not really. Krul, Crowley and Ferid are still a mystery. Without Mika's novel, we'd literally know nothing about Crowley apart from the fact that he does OP things with a smiling face. It's been at the seraphs for a while now. I'm not seeing the manga in the same separate arcs as you and Kagami seem to. It didn't jump to the seraph arc, it merged with it along the way. The seraph arc might as well have started when Yu first transformed. But we were still in the vampire arc, weren't we? My point being that it's not as clean and clear as you imply. The story structure aside, crappy ending means When I said ch 40 + finale, I mean chapter 40 and an episode explaining the seraph plot, e.t.c. By Ch 40 and cliffhanger, I mean an episode that is a season finale, but also wants the watcher wanting more - therefore reading the manga and or watching a possible season 3. The latter is unlikely because WIT are crap. Tbh, the only thing we have yet to find out is the Seraph plot and why the Hyakuya sect did it; hopefully not the clichéd 'religious extremists' reason. Both of these can be rounded up in an episode or two, imo. Hence why I see the manga as almost over. The thing that will drag out the chapters now will probably be action + infodumps here and there, before some major crap happens(for example Crowley switching sides like you suggested) and it ends. After the seraphs have potentially reked crap and everyone dies, there'll be nothing else for the manga to give, so it'll end. >.> All I'm seeing is a mess at the moment, and it definitely won't end at chapter 40 without SOME KIND of twist or resolution. |

| Next episode is the only one to have a title different from any of the ones for the manga chapters. That kind of lends credence to the idea that it'll either change the canon a lot or run a bit ahead of what the manga has done. Also this was a terrible episode. Using an entire episode for character interactions that could have been done in half the time with only 3 episodes left is a bad place to be. |

| Not much happened this episode, but I liked it. Even though I don't particularly like Mika, the reunion wasn't so bad. Guess it was about time. That ending though. Disgusting experiment. Looking forward to the next episode. |

XD fking troll animators... except that it was a bit more exaggerated than in the manga, this was the best adaptation of this season though, i'm kinda wondering why they didn't go with a 13 episode season though this time, that way there was no need to rush so much in the more important buildup episodes (the 1st 4 episodes or so, the 1st 2 for sure!). seeing the preview for next episode, it seems like they even adapted pieces from the lastest 2 chapters, which are really recent.. Wonder if they are going for the canon version or if they will make a anime original now though.. |

| Finally, since I didn't read the manga from here, I feel excited to know what's going to happen next, I can say I didn't feel that excited at all since the first few episodes of the first cour, hopefully, they will deal with the main issue in a better way, the whole experimental thing is very interesting, I like the fact that the vampires and the demon imperial army somehow existed in the world before the whole apocalypse, I hope they will link us more often to that time and connect all this mysteries and mess in a great way, this story still has a huge potential even with the huge problems in the first two cours (before this point) imo. |

| was a bit awkward.. Not the yaoi moments, but after all the "Mika/Yu" Moments you would expect a nicer reunion. Yu nearly let Mika in the dust when he walked away. Could have been showed better in a different way. The art also looked worse then it used to. But I absolutely need the OST of this EP. The pacing feels more like episode 10/24 and not like 10/12. Also, why did it suddenly started to snow? Hell, half the girls are still wearing skrits XD |
