| 'If you do not want to die, survive!' Roger, Captain obvious :P Hmm..not a bad start. But a few pet peeves here and there. Why wouldn't they give the police weapons to fight the Gastrea? I guess this show is going to go with the 'police are useless' trope to have the main characters steal the spotlight. They had to throw in some fluffy slice of life after a serious fight. As much as I love SOL, I wish they'll keep the dark atmosphere and proceed in a more mature manner. But with a female lead like Enju, I don't think that's going to happen. I don't mind loli characters (actually quite fond of them at times) but the whole haughty-mightier-than-thou loli act is getting old, especially for shows like this. Well, I don't hate her or anything but had hoped she wouldn't fall into that category. Overall, it's still pretty entertaining :3 The transformation scenes are quite gruesome and I like the explanation about the gastrea virus. |

| Pretty good first episode even though it screams generic, similar to Noragami in a way. Nice art; love Enju (she's like a more loli-er version of Yaya from Machine-doll) and Kisara's design. Pretty good animation, liking the atmosphere as well. OP was ok, liked ED song way more. |
| Man. Enru. The dream loli any lolicon would want. Moving on, this first episode was actually very decent. It has an interesting backplot and so far it shows some great potential. It seems a bit farfetched what the Gastrea killers do takes place at an very unserious workplace. A small unheard of security firm has an "civil officer" and a cursed child? What? How did they even acquire such important people when they are not even heard of by most people? Also, the police doesn't even take them seriously and refuses to pay them. I think the main character should act a bit cooler around the girls, especially since he lives with Enru, he should probably treat her better. Overall this episode was pretty entertaining so I'd give it a 5/5. But all this is just my opinion afterall. |

Overall, it's still pretty entertaining :3 The transformation scenes are quite gruesome and I like the explanation about the gastrea virus. i already explained somewhere before, but again: because the cursed childrens are the only one who are immune against the gastrea virus. if the police got bitten or slashed by an infected gastrea, they will turn themself into gastrea too. this rule was added to decrease the amount of deaths among the police. and dont worry, it gets darker with action, SoL is more sprinkled here and there. also, enju is actually a tragic character, but i wont spoil more here |

I agree with both of you about Enju, I'm a LOT more interested in her than the main character, who is like a less interesting Eren from AoT. Dunno why people don't like her, she's an adorable, badass loli who's clearly quite precocious sexually. Too bad for her she ended up paired with such a stick in the mud. Then again, people bitch about titties in anime too, so people on MAL will complain about anything. Will probably watch it for the loli action, if I drop it it's because Rentaro just can't maintain my interest. On the other hand, if he continues to be the usual lame main character, I might enjoy it more when Enju beats the crap out of him. Rentarou will get interesting as the story goes on. | That was pretty awesome! The OP is one of the best I've heard in a while! I was very impressed by this episode! I had no exceptions what so ever and just watched it because the cool title and man it's good I checked it out! |

| Interesting premise...this show seems to bring together various elements like the setting of Attack on Titan, Aria the Scarlet Ammo's Butei system and main character pair (these two guys look a lot like Kinji and Aria), and Unbreakable Machine-Doll's relationship between the main pair. Enju is adorable! |

| Interesting first episode and how they explain about the 'cursed children' is also interesting, not the usual narrative.. Although loli it's not really my kinda thing, the plot and the main character seems interesting enough for me to continue watching this~ |

| Absolutely loved it - very interesting story, gave off a modern-day Attack on Titan kind of vibe. Main characters are really likable, and it was so so funny. What I really love though is how it manages to both take itself seriously AND be really funny, that's not something that's easy to do. So yeah, easily my favorite from this season so far. Definitely keeping an eye on this one. |

| the world seemed too "normal" for a post apocalyptic world, assuming the virus has wrecked havoc on humanity. Hopefully this show won't turn into a harem and we'll actually get to see some real plot. |

| A toned down Yaya is suppose to be a good thing. Yaya would have been a fun character if she wasn't over-the-top. Enju is fantastic. <3 I think Black Bullet can go somewhere. I like this anime's direction style too, it was really enjoyable. |

| It was a decent episode. The pacing for the first half was all over the place and the writing could use a fixer uper. The OP though is so cool and now I can't get it out of my head.The animation so far looks pretty good, premise seems interesting, however there are waaaaaaay tooooooo many parallels to Attack on Titan, black buildings are the wall, kick-ass lolis are titan killers, even the weapon is considered the only Gaestra killing machine. Anyways, I still have hopes for this thing |

| This anime was honestly ruined the moment it introduced imouto-garbage... again. This isn't necessarily something that detracts me from watching it, but it does take a lot away from it. Black Bullet could have been an epic action anime with great animation, but instead it's tainted with little-girl-moe. Oh well, it's a 2014 anime, what's the surprise... |

| I found this to be a very disappointing debut episode, mainly due to the disjointed and poorly thought-out narrative (don't miss the shameless exposition dump in the last two minutes). But the worst part of it was discovering that the director and writer of Monster and Hajime no Ippo were behind this mess. On the other hand, if anyone can salvage this show, I suppose they could, though I seriously doubt it. |

The first scene with the attack on a young Rentaro. The later fight didn't feel like that, though when i compare it: Bugs? Check. Guns? Check. Special bullets? Check. Little girl as "side kick"? Check. That girl being someone special? Check. The major similarity to SnK is the wall..but it not really a wall, as it's not closed..and it isn't all that reliable in the first place. |
