I'll stop watching anime when I either have too many real life things to do or run out of series I want to watch. Both are quite a long ways away so I won't be stopping anytime soon :3

I've been into that for too long, so doubt it. If I got tired of it (which isn't really possible), I'd probably stick to the manga and visual novels anyway.

Having just finished rewatching one of my all-time favorites (AKB0048 Next Stage)... I need to take a break... otherwise I'll just end up dropping everything I try because it can't compare to the epic, exciting, amazing, emotional, fun, awesomeness of AKB0048! (I'm still riding out the high from watching it...)

What a stupid question. If you like it and it hurts nobody, why stop? If you are tired and bored of it, then stop. I mean really. This topic doesn't need to exist.

Super Sentai almost made me stop watching anime altogether when I realized that a single episode of that franchise has more action than anime in general.

I know the feels.

I have recently started to watch anime less, but not really my choice. Working too much and my bosses abuse me.

Stop watching Anime!? 。・゚゚・(>д<)・゚゚・。

There was a time (last couple of months last year) where I stop watching as much, but in the end it was because I was over-thinking about what to watch next, and ended up most my time looking for Anime pics, listening to Anime music, playing games.

Luckily now I'm over those thoughts and watching lots more now~

If I ever stop watching Anime, that'd be the moment I cease to exist.

I actually have thought about it a lot , like "Is anime/manga what I should be doing ? " . But I've come to the conclusion that I enjoy it and I won't be stopping anytime soon . And all of you who say "I will watch even when I'm a grown up adult" , don't exaggerate it , truth be told , we all will stop watching one time , it's natural .

i've never considered stopping, why would i? i don't think i'll ever stop, lmao.

that being said, i haven't even watched very many animes anyway. it's just another hobby of mine, its not my life or anything. so i don't think my life would be SUPER different without it, but definitely at least a little bit.

Any time I even slightly consider to stop watching anime, stuff like the latest episode of Kill la Kill happens and I immediately toss those silly thoughts aside.

Neva gonna happen.

I already stopped watching anime for a year in 2010. I came back, so that sort of speaks to the difficulty of moving on. It's like abandoning video games or a sport. It doesn't happen that easily.

When I'm 24 or 25 years old and have a full-time job, yeah, I'll probably be watching a lot less. But I don't see myself ever abandoning anime entirely. Even if it's just a few anime every year, I'll stick around.

When you're 24 or 25 and have a full time job, you don't have homework to do at night anymore so you can watch a lot more anime c:

I think my stopping point will be when there are no good anime left, whenever that may be (^^)v

There has been long periods where i haven't watched anime but it hasn't ever been a though out choice. Either i haven't had the time or haven't been watching anything for technical reasons (for instance i can't watch newer show's with the piece of junk i'm using and i can't watch stuff on my PS3 because most anime is on MKV format)

I really don't ever see myself (and why would i stop?) stopping watching anime. Just like i don't see myself stop watching "regular shows" (i mean non animated shows)

Animation is one of my passions but i haven't ever been that person that does nothing but watch anime from morning to evening.

I forgot how this works since my ps3 hasn't been on in a while. But cant you use PS3 Media Server or convert to VOB or whatever format you want?

Anyways. I won't stop watching anime. Might stop watching it as much as I do now when I'm older but won't give it up completely

This pretty much.

And if I ever get bored of it, then I will stop watching anime without me even realizing it (gradually watching less shows until there's none left at some point).

Most animes are pretty awful, and its not always easy to find something good to watch. Still though, occasionally some good animes appear, so it's not like I could stop watching it. Not as if you have to watch tons of anime to watch one series.

The only times I really stop watching for a period of time is when I just randomly choose to invest my time in something else. Like sometimes I'll be playing an RPG that I'm very into and I'll just not watch anything until I've beaten the game.

I usually try to watch 1 ep of something every day though. Considering it takes less than 30 minutes of my 12-14 hr period I spend awake per every 24hrs, its not a huge time investment. I'm always watching 1 series (call it my "Finished Airing" Series) that has already completed its episodes and I almost always watch 1 episode of that each day, even if I have a really crappy and/or very busy day. My last FA series was Baccano!, now I'm about to pick up Future Diary, then It'll be Madoka Magica probably.

Blasphemy!!! I wouldn't dream of it!

Because there's no point in me stopping... It's not hurting anyone, I love it, made some awesome friends from it, it made me a better person. =^-^=

You can't let it consume your life to the point where you can't tell the difference between 2D and 3D... If you do then it's time to take a break. It can happen.

I stopped for a few years, because I had bigger things to take care of in life.

If you have other things to do, go get them done. Anime will be here when you return, and you'll have plenty of back episodes to catch up on. ^^
