My absolute favorite is Dragonheart, followed by The Lion King and Princess Mononoke. ^_^
I'm also fond of the original Indiana Jones trilogy, Cloverfield, The Love Bug, and Star Wars.

Anything Harry Potter or 007 = Win. Get hooked on generic yet entertaining romance/comedies, Adam Sandler goes alright in that department.

Well this is probably my favorite trilogy along with the ORIGINAL Star Wars.

As for an individual movie, I'll go with the greatest prison movie of them all:

The Shawshank Redemption

Its so hard to pick favorites because i like so many, but for now i am going with...
Dawn of the dead
500 days of summer
an education
pineapple express
lord of the rings
underworld

thats all i can think of for right now. i really enjoy comedies, but its hard to put them as top movies because they don't impact me the same way a good drama does.

Meh, people criticize it, but I'm a sucker for Pixar movies. You can't deny their storytelling power - so admit it! >:P

As of now, my favorite movie is Toy Story 3 (The Incredibles is a close second). I thought I'd hate it, actually, with it being a threequel and all. Turns out that it's lightyears from my expectation. See what I did there... nvm.

But to compile a list...

- All Pixar movies except Ratatouille and WALL-E (I recognize the profoundness in their stories, but I still don't find it entertaining)
- The Dark Knight, b*tch
- Jurassic Park/The Lost World: Jurassic Park
- The Mummy (the first one, a guilty pleasure)
- XxX (another guilty pleasure)
- Die Hard (Yipee ki Yay, mother...)
- Predator (1987)
- Batman (1989)
- The Matrix (1999)
- Scream (1996)
- The Fly (1986)
- All Disney movies made during the Renaissance Era, except Aladdin, Pocahontas, and Hunchback of Notre Dame
- Alien/Aliens ('79/'86)
- An American Werewolf in London
- 300 (2006)
- Bean: The Ultimate Disaster Movie
- Mr. Bean's Holiday
- Brother Bear (guilty pleasure)
- Friday the 13th (1980)
- Crank
- Dinosaur (2000)
- Edward Scissorhands
- Final Destination (2000, guilty pleasure)
- Hollow Man (2000)
- GoldenEye
- Casino Royale
- Lilo & Stitch
- Men in Black (1997)
- Mortal Kombat (1995, still a guilty pleasure)
- Rugrats In Paris: The Movie
- Saw (2004)
- Saw 2
- Speed (1994)
- Spider-Man (2002, don't care what people say, this is one great adventure)
- Spider-Man 2 (better than the first one, b*tches)
- The Terminator (1984)
- Terminator: Judgement Day
- Titanic (1997, lots of people hate it, but they failed to see the well developed characters here)
- V For Vendetta (the Britannia's side of the story)
- Iron Man (2008)
- Sherlock Holmes (2009, only because I'm a Holmes fan)
- Magnolia (respect the coc-)
- 28 Days Later
- Volcano (1997, guilty pleasure)
- Godzilla (1998, guilty pleasure)
- Independence Day (1996, guil- bah you get the point)
- Cloverfield
- The Transformers: The Movie (1986, don't give a damn for Bay)
- Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
- Jumanji
- Gladiator
- Bruce Almighty
- Liar Liar
- The Mask (guilty)
- Mean Girls (guilty)
- Freaky Friday (2003, -shot-)
- Back to the Future (1985, such a classic)
- Enchanted (guilty)

Okay, I'll stop. lol
