| Great Teacher Onizuka. He went against everything he stood for right at the end. Most anime only endings suck though, but GTO was just terrible. Neon Genesis Evangelion's TV series ending was horrible as well. For those 2 to stand out when most anime only endings suck says a lot. |
| Clannad after story. Although I never loved Clannad from the beginning, the ending was the nail in the coffin for me. |

| I don't see anything wrong with TTGL ending, it ended fine. You want a troll ending? Watch Berserk. A really, really good bit arrived, and they just cut it off. Literally cut off, there was NO ending, it just stopped. Most anime end with something to make it feel like somewhat of an ending, even if you know the story is nowhere near complete. But Berserk, man! It qualifies technically as an ending cause the anime ended... But without an ending! |

| Angel Beats kinda ticked me off at the end I hated Byousuke 5 Centimeter's ending, so anticlimatic Shakugan no Shana didn't have a bad ending per se, but rather the directiom of the entire last season was just weird OreImo goes without saying, but that ending wasn't even supposed to happen, just the author not being allowed to write the ending he wanted (although it was very obvious what *should* have happened in reality) The worst ending I've seen still goes to the manga Mx0, I have no idea what the fuck that was about with that so-called "conclusion" bunny_lover said: GoldenGuard said: even the title of the anime suggests the ending. On topic, Ergo Proxies ending didn't suck in my opinion but it felt like it could use more a couple more episodes. Most likely because it actually was originally suppose to but they cut it short. |

| The epitome of this is Spirited away, my second favorite anime of all time. Okay, maybe the ending didn't come to suck and the last scene is among my favorites, but the way things are resolved (Haku and Yubaba) is at the very least anticlimactic. |
