| Probably the best episode not only of the second season, but of the entire series. The tension of the current situation of the Kou Empire, Hakuryuu's anger, Gyoken being a total (but awesomely evil) bitch, Judar returning, the plan of the Kou Empire to unite the entire world and the whole episode overall was really well made. Wanting to see more of the Kou conflict. Also glad to having Ka Koubun's monologue again, the dude is too ambitious for his own good XD Loli Kougyoku was adorable, as expected. Aladdin was a beast at the end. |

| Wow that was intense!!! That empress mother gave me the creeps! Just who in the world is she?!!! No way did the emperor die of natural death…look at his body!!! So Kouen and the 2 brothers are not working for/with Al-thamen?? That’s good to hear. Will there be more civil wars or not since Kouen seem to have the same goal of unification (as al thamen??). I wish somehow the siblings work together against their mother & al-thamen, is this possible i wonder… I’m so worried for hakuryuu now…i bet he must be feeling like no one is on his side… please don’t fall to the dark side >__< |

| At this point Hakuryuu is probably my favourite character from this show, he doesn't go all emo like Sasuke but instead is determined to take his revenge. His mother is a real bitch, unfortunatley pretty powerful as well. Looks like it was Al-Thamen all along who manipulated (and now disposed of) the emperor all along and used Kou for their evil plans. |

| I have frankly been utterly perplexed by the ridiculous size of the Kou royal family (12, that is twelve princes / princesses??!! really?!), how each member is connected to each other and which prince / princess has parent X, parent Y or parent Z. This complexity and confusion was even lampshaded in the "next episode preview" at the end of the previous episode, but lampshading alone does not help. For instance, since the evil (or maybe brainwashed by Al-Thamen? killing your own children is something not even evil people normally do, unless they are truly rotten to the core; mere "corruption" is insufficient..) witch Gyokuen Ren is the second wife of the just deceased Emperor she cannot be -the quite older than her children- Crown Prince's Kouen Ren mother yet she acted like she was. So whose (biological) mother is she, just of the two black-haired siblings or also of some of the younger red-haired ones? Or are most of the red-haired royals illegitimate children of the Emperor and prostitutes (like Kougyoku Ren), which would explain their number? The Emperor's "disease", by the way, looked quite unnatural; it was almost certainly artificial.. Kouen Ren's justification for conquering the entire world was risible and self-contradictory. Hakuei is extremely naive to buy such crap, but she is naive by and large. Her brother Hakuyuu looks just about ready to fall to the dark side (the easiest, quickest and crudest way to get power, Yoda say would), with Judar serving as the Star War's Emperor trying to corrupt him, dangling his mother as both a carrot and stick.. I wonder if he'll fall.. |

| this episode was the best so far. such intense in one episode. also, i begin to like hakuryu now lol. i understand his needs to kill his mother much more. about those who pointed out harkuryuu is like sasuke, i foresaw that long ago when he talked about revenge lol. next episode with aladdin, i have been waited for this. |
| Sad that there's barely any hakuryuu, judar, or kougyoku here. Rewatching this reminds me of how I hated gyokuen back when I read the manga in 2016-2017. God, time flies. Gyokuen's depravity and atrocities as Arba is why I support Hakuryuu's rights and wrongs. Poor guy lost his brothers and his beloved empire is infested with the cancer called al-thamen. Also, KOUEN SEX x 100. He's so sexy like 85% of magi's male cast. Let me continue your bloodline tyvm! |
