Hmmm - that was a surprise. Luna isn't quite what Casshern, Lyuze and Ringo expected.

BTW - I wonder if there is some significance in the difference in the flower colors between the initial flashback in which Luna was happy, and in the episode, where Luna is an ice-b1tch queen? (Blue vs red)

What a dissapointment that Luna was. I was so happy that Dune was able to heal in the beginning thinking that what they were travelling for wasn't in vain, but it is truly anger that you feel in the end of the episode.

Man, Luna was such a bitch. I really didn't expect that.
I guess she can only heal someone one time?

OMG!! Luna's a BITCH!! Definitely didn't see that one coming! Poor Dune...I really liked him.
I don't blame you one bit, Casshern. I would've killed her too if that's what she's truly like.

Hate Luna. Hate her with a passion. No, sorry I don't hate her. I despise her.
Wouldn't even safe her own guardian/bodyguard aka Dune. How evil/heartless can she get?

It was finally nice to see Dune not insane/incoherent...and then he dies. What the fuck, Luna? Did Casshern "killing" her do something to her psyche?

Huh, Braiking Boss actually went out of his way to bury his soldiers? That's unexpected.

Hell, I'd be pissed too if I spent twenty episodes to find someone only for that someone to end up being a total bitch.

Why do I get the feeling that this Luna is nothing but a fake. The real Luna died when Casshern killed her. This is just a sick imposter, one Casshern will kill.

lol I'm pretty sure Cashern is gonna kill Luna again... I'd be pissed too if I were made out to be the bad guy the entire series when the "good guy" was a stuck up bitch.

As expected: someone who let the whole world slowly die while having the power to save it, and sucrifice so many lifes just to proove her rights , Is a bitch.
Very nice dialog with The Death (Malach HaMavet), actually.

lol and I thought that the ring girl in previous ep was creepy:

lol my eyeballs just dropped out

You went on rambling with your endless emo dialogue (that I stopped appreciating after episode 3) just to look for this loli bitch.

Arrrrrrrrghhhhhhh.

Decent episode.
That last scene was quite intense between Casshern and Luna. Quite know that in this episode that Luna was evil at the beginning as I think through.

Quite enjoyed this episode. We got quite the hefty amount of info. We found out that Luna's a total bitch, Dune is not as crazy as he's made out to be, Braiking Boss actually cared about his soldiers, and Casshern has more emotions than previously thought.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNE!!!!!!

That's it THAT'S IT

Everyone named 'Luna' is SHIT

DEATH TO LUNA

Though what if everything right now is a flashback, and it all somehow leads to Casshern killing Luna as we've all seen from the start and everyone just had some kind of fucked up amnesia or some shit? I don't know. I'm crazy.

Luna turned out to be different from imagined. Something about being killed by Casshern changed her. Still a lot to be revealed about her and the world.

Well, that was different. Figured it would be too easy for this Luna to be the one to save everyone from the Ruin. Though, now I have no idea where they're going with this. I'm also curious as to how Ohji is supposed to fit into all of this at this point. Also, Braiking Boss proving to be an interesting character yet again. He had all of 1 minute in this episode, and despite this being a big reveal episode for Luna that also had Dune die, it his moment reflecting upon his old military base was somehow the most profound moment of the episode. I have no idea if this is the same continuity as the Casshern series from the 70s or the 90s, but by just taking that scene at face value, it makes Braiking Boss to be, dare I say, a complex ex-villain that may possibly graduate to a larger, morally ambiguous role in this series?

Kinda surprised that they let Dune die off like that. I was working on the assumption that he was immortal on account of being an inevitability, but apparently the whole God of Death thing was just a moniker and not symbolic in the way I thought it was.

Anyways, I quite enjoyed this episode. I've felt like the past couple have stagnated with all the repetition and exploration of the same themes, so it was nice to have some new developments for a change. I like the whole twist with Luna being the opposite of what we have come to expect of her as an audience, though I'm not as doubtful of her being the real deal as some of the people in this thread. The only really trustworthy piece of information we have thus far is that the current state of the world is a consequence of Casshern killing Luna. I think it would make sense for her to be sour about what happened to her and what happened as a result of her death.

There are still several questions that I have about this series, but at this point I'm doubtful of whether I'll receive all the answers I'm looking for. There's an hour and thirty minutes left until I'm through with this. Hopefully it all goes well.

My issue with this show i guess is i have no sentiment towards the characters i guess. Dune died and i felt nothing. I will say, I am wondering what is going on with luna. If this truly is how she always has been which no wonder why casshern decked her. I would also like to say Braiking Boss had some screentime and i liked the little bit of characterization we got for him this ep, just wished we had more i guess.
