Yay, she got a new shovel. Grats I guess.

Now that I think about it though, the school looks pretty average. Oh look Alis trying to hide something..and I see drama. The look on Dee's face spells out fear.

Oh well, a pleasant ending I guess. Not sure how the finale will go but I'm ready.

So Ai played a role of a good shot in the arm for them (or at least Alis)? 14 years is surely long. Kinda surprising Dee has not got weary of him yet.

Since I had expected the series to be like a road movie, this arc feels prolonged. Also it's not so impressive as the dead-city arc. When I had heard Ai's desire to save the world, I had expected the series to be full of exciting and magnificent arcs like the dead city one. But somehow the show turned out school arcs so far. That said, it's still fun to watch it thanks to the unique atmosphere and setting.

One day before school festival is the day that got reset... Red hair guy collected the data, but that girl destroys it to prevent stopping what happens here (the factor of being different). Timid girl became “witch” girl because she died that day from falling when preparing (so she was a “ghost” when she was in outside world). Too peaceful that they feel like they like being in this looping world that it’s scary.

What a tragic ending to the episode, though it came out exactly like Dee expected. . .
All that weight on a thirteen-year old to find a solution.
Really late for me to realize, but it's pretty much like an Endless Eight.
Alis x Dee, and Yuri x Scar
The only anomaly was that I found it strange the group wasn't more worried in July about not solving the issue in time and forever being stuck.
Really excited for the last episode (not that I want the series to be over, but this is really the only deep series this season, imo).

Though it's only 12 ep., I really liked the development of this series. The pacing is fit more for a full-season, so hopefully someday we will see a S2 of this series. It really is amazing, especially with it's visuals and soundtracks!

So Alis is willing to sacrifice anything for his goal. Must have hurt for Dee, even though she'd guessed it, it's worse to hear it.

This arc is very much like Hakomari's Rejecting Classroom.

So she loved him. What if the reason Alis isn't affected by that loop and can regain his memories is because he had a different wish granted? That he didn't wish for the same thing Class 3-4 did? He has Buzzer Beater after all.

Wow the feels I had from the first 3 episodes have finally resurfaced. This anime probably would've been good if that other school arc had been executed better. The dead city arc is by far my favorite, though I've developed a liking for Alis.

That's what I've been saying since this arc has started, they're both so very much alike

I'm really enjoying this arc so far, with Alis saying that he would sacrifice everything just to save that world, it must really hurt for Dee. Seeing that there's one episode left, I wonder if Ai will try to find some way to get Dee out of that world as well.

Oh, so Dee really died.. I wonder if Alis really doesn't know anything about this. I'm thinking that, he already knew or noticed that Dee died and the real reason of this time loop.. Hmm, but I think Alis love Dee too :)

I think Alis already knows that Dee is dead or at least suspects it.
In the end I don't think Dee could be "saved" I think it's best for her character to grow and realize that if she really does love Alis then she would free the class and to stop clinging onto his so much.

Ai would probably give her a burial so her soul can rest and move on to heaven or whatever.

Anyways I ship Ai and Alis. Those two have so much chemistry.

I like what Alis said about wishes, how wishes aren't meant to be granted because people stop working hard towards it. He knows it all too well with his prefect aim ability :( that's sad that once his wish was granted, it also took away the thing he loved the most. Dee knowing that she is the cause of the loop is sad too, knowing that she's already dead. Saving the class would mean that the world move on without her. But then again not sure how it would all work out if the world continued, would she just suddenly disappear? Poor Dee too when she saw that Alis was playing basketball with Ai, that must really hurt. I don't think she should take it to heart that he would be willing to sacrifice someone to save the class, he probably (maybe?) sacrifice himself too if that's what it takes. At least he wouldn't stop half way after trying so hard this whole time. Hm I just randomly rememebered this, but that one time when Alis shot all his classmates, he didn't shoot Dee right? Or maybe he did. Just wondering why if he didn't happen to shoot her.

Really awesome ep. Loving this arc.

Poor Dee. U gotta feel bad for her T_T...esp when she saw Alis laughing with Ai.

Alis is an awesome character. Still wondering why he wasn't affected by the loop though? Also his aim ability?

Can't wait for last ep. Should have an awesome conclusion.

Because it was Alis who died, not Dee. Here is the transcription of the text in French:

Technically this is not really spoiler because you just had to pay attention. This is also why Dee was hiding the newspaper. She would not hide to Ai if she was the one who died.

^Well then that certainly mixes things up a bit. I have a feeling Dee shooting Alis is important here, as well as Alis not shooting Dee when he killed everybody. No clue how they'll tie together..But as far as wishes go, Dee probably made a wish that involved giving her life to bring him back, explaining her ghost form, and allowing him to "live" in real time outside the loop world. And of course the class still takes responsibility for the loop. So I'm thinking Dee would still be the one to die(or disappear I guess) if the class' wish was somehow revoked and real time returned, unless her wish was also revoked.

But it doesn't seem like Alis knows, which is odd since he's the one who put the article in the book. His "wanting to turn 17" could just be a bit of misdirection, or him lamenting the fact that he can't unless he let's Dee die(that's assuming he knows about her wish though). So it would have to come down to whether he knows about Dee's wish. Because he probably just thinks he would be the sacrifice right now.

It's a bit interesting. We don't know if Dee is lying or not. She said she never really talked to Alis before the whole July 28th thing. She got to know him during time loop (from what I can understand). Why would she wish to give her life instead of his? It's a bit weird when you think about it.

Maybe Alis' real name is Dee and Dee is Alice. That's a stretch lol

We'll see next week.

Ah sorry for the typo. AVOID should be AVOIR ("to have"). Here is the fixed text and let me translate it for you because Google Translate kinda funky at certain points because avoid is not a French word... :S <-- broken English sorry lol

French: "Le 28 juillet vers 16h30, un professeur, après avoir découvert qu'un élève avait fait une chute dans la cour de l'École d'Ostie, a aussitôt alerté les pompiers."

English: "On July 28th, around 4:30pm, a teacher has alerted the emergency services after discovering that a student had fallen into the courtyard of Ostie High School."

The French is slightly funky but the most grammatically correct French I have seen in anime. Even the syntax is nearly perfect except for a few weird choice of arrangements. Kudos to the producers.

That's a good point..And I'm probably thinking incorrectly, but the scene where she watches him shooting jumpshots, was that pre-loop or during the loop? I was thinking that it was pre-loop because he hadn't become the buzzer beater yet, but I guess he could have easily gotten it during the loop huh.. but in that same sense, she could have also made the wish to give her life instead during the loop because she knew how badly he wanted to get out, and probably assumed he would disappear if he returned to real time.

A great episode, and a great arc in general. I can't wait until it's conclusion. Alis and Ai have such nice chemistry, ahh it's just so nice watching them together they're so cute. Not that I don't feel bad Dee, though. I wonder why Dee takes form of a ghost and Alis doesn't, though? I have some theories, but they're not fleshed out very well so I can't say anything yet.
