| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- "Prophecy of Death" A suspenseful episode. Not often one of the main characters "die" in the middle of the series. Good thing Millerna was there. Hitomi exposes Zangi & her prophecy comes true in an unexpected way. I actually like Dilandau for showing loyalty towards his men and for killing Zangi. D@mn! What a painful death. The battle with Dilandau was great too. We see Escaflowne do battle in dragon form for once in awhile. But with Hitomi's secret exposed, she'll obviously become a much bigger target now. |

| Not the most common way the get to second base but hey! not bad. Taking commands from a 5-4 years old prince must suck. A good episode. |

| HITOMI-I-I!!! She was next to dying quite a few times now and this time she had it. But at least, unlike from being eaten by a dragon, impaled on liquid metal lance, smashed from falling, bitten by a deadly snake, crushed by a mecha, what else, this time a medic can hope to do something. Poor girl, taking even her enemy's suffering to heart, literary <_< No joke, I hate to see her dead >_< I wonder if Folken knew his agent is finished regardless, leaving Dilandau in charge like that. A loyal Doppelganger is extremely valuable agent. At least Van's crowd don't have to worry about that one anymore. |

| lmao they're not even trying to be subtle about the fact that allen is quite clearly the prince's father. if he's not, then they've led me on superbly with a red herring but i'm not expecting that tbh... and i thought that dilandau was finally gonna die. oh well, guess i'll just have to hate him with a visceral passion for a bit more... |

| Hitomi can get pretty dark with her powers. She was a little creepy, all dead-eyed, peering into someone's soul and foretelling horrible death. I like it! |

| That vision with the doppelganger was weeeeird. Good episode with good action. I'm getting more and more happy with the fact that Hitomi is having more of a role in the story. Her visions are getting more and more diverse and she's passing her powers on to Van, which I like. Dilandau sure was ruthless crushing the doppelganger like that o.o |

| Hitomi dying was pretty neat, but then she came back to life immediately after. Somehow, Van is able to immediately acquire Hitmoni's power, but that's probably because he inherited it from his mother. |
| Allen is almost certainly Chid's dad, especially with how much their laying on the "they're very connected" spiel. Of course, this is anime and Chid could just as likely bear an incredibly strong resemblance to his mom, which is what I thought at first but they've tried waaaay too hard to force connection between Chid and Allen for it to not be the case. |
| I was pretty worried for Hitomi there. This show is getting so intense. And I thought Dilandau was mad before...dang. |
