| Those delicious color pages... such a treat!!! Hmm, okay, we get to see the new Rakshasa Demons... a group of assassin with out using Teigus? Let's see what they got. And, I love how Wave and Kurome mirrors Tatsumi and Akame so much. It makes the reader feel conflicted who is the real villain in this, since we get the villain's side too. For this chapter... is it just me or Tatsumi's artwork feels like it is done in a mature way??? And it really shows his character development. Finally, heating battles right off the bat. Akame vs. Ran... and the demons vs. Rabac! Can't wait to see Rabac go and kick ass since we have seen so little of him. |

| A new group of fighters are introduced to help reinforce the Jagers. While Chelsea's final strike did not outright kill Kurome, she was definitely injured and weakened by the looks of it. Night Raid appears to have no information about the presence of this new group opposing them. Raba in particular, is in danger of getting ambushed by at least two enemies. A more regular confrontation between Night Raid and the Jagers are forming between Akame and Ran. Fiji said: I love it too. Not a lot of manga I know take this mirror approach, and also helps against turning the antagonists into mere one-dimensional obstacles waiting to be destroyed.And, I love how Wave and Kurome mirrors Tatsumi and Akame so much. It makes the reader feel conflicted who is the real villain in this, since we get the villain's side too. |
