I've only seen Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Spirted Away, so I can't recommend anything really...

Kiki's Delivery Service was my favorite, though.

I've seen Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Laputa, Grave of the Fireflies and Kiki's Delivery Service...with Princess Mononoke, The Cat Returns and My Neighbor Totoro coming up on my Netflix queue.

Howl is the only one I own currently, so I guess I like that one the best because I'm seen it so much. :) I have yet to see a Ghibli and not love it.

ooo, very hard... im an uber ghibli fan!

1. Kiki's Delivery Service (just fun cuteness, its a nice memory for my baby sis and me)
2. Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (cuz i own it and my bro doesnt, Hah!)
3. Grave of the Fireflies (my Jr High history teacher showed us this one, i cried so much in the classroom)
4. Howl's Moving Castle (Just lovely)
5. Spirited Away (i know i put this as #5 but damn, its just too beautiful to watch over and over again)
6. Porco Rosso (this is a surprisingly good film)
7. Princess Mononoke (its a bit low on my list just for the "f***ing hell!" factor, im always surprised when i rewatch...i never can remember how violent it is)
8. The Cat Returns (a clever story)

aww... =( a lot of great ones are low on the list but i hold ghibli in the highest regard over all anime <_< i can list others but im tired =)

i need to see Whisper of the Heart... *goes to look for it*

OMG it's june!!!! Hey!! ^_^

Anyways.....I have only seen one ghibli film I didn't like, (umi ga kikoeru, or "The Ocean Waves". It was surprisingly...annoying) and all the others are too good to say one is better than another, but if I had to pick favorites I would say (in no order)
1. Whisper of the Heart (it's just so sweet!)
2. Spirited Away (beautiful, sweet, great story. What's not to love?)
3. Princess Mononoke (I watched it again today. Yes, it is violent, but it's still great)
4. Kiki's Delivery Service (super sweet)
5. Nausicca of the Valley of the Wind
6. Howl's Moving Castle (Love the story, great as a movie and a book)
7. Grave of the Fireflies (omg......just omg)

That's most of the Ghibli's I've seen. I just love them all so much.....and they're great to watch over and over...

Well I like Spirited Away, Howls Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, Grave of the fireflies, My Neighbour Totoro, Nausica of the valley of wind, Laputa: Castle in the sky, Only Yesterday, urm.... I've seen moer than that I think... but I dunno if anyone else likes it, but I think Only Yesterday is quite good, but my favourite is Princess Mononoke, it seems to be more involved than the rest.

Yea, I remember watching it when I was little. I totally loved it, and now I have it on DVD ^_^ (I love all of my Ghibli dvds. They are the pride of my anime collection)

And June, I'll have to check out Pom Poko. I've been meaning to for a while. It sounds...interesting.

1) Spirited Away - It's a masterpiece and has so many important messages which I think it says very well. The animation is magnificent and the nostalgic feeling is just brilliant. This is my most watched film ever. I've seen it about 7 or 8 times now and every time I love it more than the last.

2) Grave of the Fireflies - One of the most sad films I've ever seen. At times I thought it was unnecessarily depressing, but no. It's a magnificent historical film and a very good representative of Anime as a whole.

3) Laputa: Castle in the Sky - Such a beautiful film, it really was such a sweet and enjoyable watch. I've seen it 3 times now and it does get boring after a while. I haven't read the manga yet but I'm afraid that if I do I will like the movie a lot less, like I did when I read Nausicaa.

My ultimate favorite is Princess Mononoke, which is closely followed by Laputa and Nausicaa (in that order). I didn't really care much for Spirited Away. It seemed just a little too random for such a serious movie.

I think i've seen them all except for grave of the fireflies. I heard is very depressing and lately i'm not in the mood! my favorites are Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Totoro (awwwww) and Princess Mononoke. Whisper of the heart and the cat returns were very cute but not as good. i want a cat bus. and a totoro. or 2.

Reviving an old topic :D

My favorite Ghibli film is Whispers of the Heart, but I also love Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service a whole lot.

Last month I was able to see 'Yadosagashi' at the Ghibli museum in Japan, and it was supercute too! They have a short feature there that is related to Totoro, with Mei's adventures with a catbus-kitten, but it wasn't playing at the time I went (doh!)

I've seen Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle and Nausicaa.

Spirited Away is probably my favourite. It got me interested in anime again, and I just love the animation and story. Mononoke and Nausicaa would be tied for second.

Howl's Moving Castle
My Neighbor Totoro (my first anime, actually... <3)
Laputa
Kiki's Delivery Service (I need to watch it again...)
And bits of Whisper of the Heart

My favourite one is Mononoke Hime, but Whisper Of The Heart, Ocean Waves and Laputa are great works too!

I watched Howl's Moving Castle. It was cool, but in my thoughts it's a bit under its brothers. :D
