Too bad this series won't be aired weekly. It was however an interesting episode.

Mostly a world building episode introducing the key players of Ninteldo, history on Atarika, etc. Tejirof still saying some of the most odd lines (sticking something other than an arrow in your hole) and the fanservice still seems odd at times (talking about power then all of a sudden the girls loses clothes and beams of lights as they get caught up in the moment), though nice hotbath scene with Gear and Tejirof, so I guess it was alright. The mission to retrieve General Alex had quite a few good moments I think, wish Gear did more stuff though its only episode 2.

Alex is his dad, what? Opal should have fled and not fought the guy, no way she can win unless she truly mastered the shot ability.

It really does suck that we have to wait so long to get episode after episode. I really enjoyed it, the fanservice was nice too. Tejirof is one funny dude.

This episode was a bit more serious than the previous, but nothing much really happened

The episode was really interesting. No idea why it isn't weekly. Next episode seems promising too.

Haha, I love this anime. This episode was pretty sweet. It's awesome how perverted Tejirof is with his explanations and that L-block earing is just pimpin'.

Crystal isn't Kirby, she is a reference of Final Fantasy.

Looks like Crimson changed this episode a bit in production, there are a thing that was planned to appear based on the preview in Episode 1 but it gonna appear in Episode 3 instead.

Too bad this series is only 3 episodes and it only covered the 1st arc (Sega Master System/Mark III arc).

Looks like there is a short OVA included on the Vol.1 of the DVD, I wonder what it is gonna be...

Quite a fun anime, I would've liked it to be just a bit more serious and slow paced thought... like that first episode, it really went too fast for Gear and Opal to become friends after that intro.. o_o
that tetris guys is funny.. and lol'd at Marcus.. x'D
Who are Opal and Nel based on?

Opal are based on Opa-Opa from Fantasy Zone.

Nel are based on Nei from Phantasy Star 2.

So Gear is the son of General Alex, well played creators. Dunno what to think about this series so far, it's been good but a bit boring

I'm not sure about the name origins, but he is reference to Dragon Quest/Warriors series from Enix (Elil).

I'm assuming the brothers are Bubble Bobble from Taito but I don't know who the rest are. Tattoland (sp?) is Taito and Elil is Enix or am I mistaken?

The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.

Hmm I was wodnering if Myomuto was Marth from FE Fame, but that makes far more sense. Now all we need to wait for is Sony and Microsoft to beat both sides down. But I rather liked this ep. Just hope it won't be so long of a wait for the Thrid.

[He's hilarious. One of the reasons why I keep watching is because of the fact that he's a main character [supposedly]. I find his stick/hole quirkiness entertaining...and the analogies he makes with them actually make sense >o>]

This exactly.
But at the same time, it fit his personality and I was amused.

This anime is pretty good. I'm also pretty sad that it doesn't update weekly.

Producers... Y DON'T U MAKE IT WEEKLY?

Anyways, it's getting interesting, but I thought it was going to have 12 episodes... How come just 3 epis? it's unfair.

Why, why? The one decent fight was stopped by this "wall of light".

It's just talking and explaining the whole episode.

Eh, I liked the backstory, but I feel like it should have just introduced that as a prologue at the beginning of #1 in a quicker fashion; this episode just seemed a little on the boring side, and with the end so close, it's not like there's too many places to go.
