May as well make another silly thread for entertainment value.

Can be as specific or vague as you want. E.g., "I like pesto sauce on fettucini" or "I like pasta"

Best food I've ever had is either a portabello mushroom stuffed with a crab cake, or watermelon. Watermelon kicks all sorts of ass. Totally not black btw.

I ate this fish at a Japanese restaurant once, and it was fucking beautiful, and I don't even like fish.

Also lasagne, lasagne is the greatest food ever.

Mitch, come to Italy, we have a shitload of Lasagna.

Pasta, pasta is the best thing I've ever ate. No, I'm not Italian actually, I just live here, but I LOVE PASTA. PASTA IS AMAZING.

As a child, I was told that society is a melting pot of talents; knowledge and experience combined to form important alloys that will contribute to mankind. When I got to highschool, however, I thought that it's more like a river in which the water represents our peers while we ourselves are the stones in the river. Constant erosion by mindless majority sheeping has made us lose our unique edge. After I hit the age of 18, I realized that I've been wrong all along. Society is no melting pot. Society is no river. Society is a person, a very skilled rapist, and he has fucked us all.

Summer Falafel plate at Napi's on Cape Cod MA

Also had some amazing dishes in Hong Kong. Dinner at the Ritz and after I got married, Dinner at some ridiculously fancy hotel.

Sadly I was mostly drunk at the last two. ><

But I remember they rocked!

way to screw up my honeymoon. yay!

You probably meant hyphens. Commas would just ruin it further, unless you meant "Bread, man, toasted-ass bread." I added the period for flavor, though. I'm posting replies on a forum and not writing a novel, after all.

Yeah I was just messing around, as you can see I deleted the periods and changed the first letters of ass and bread to lower case. So it would look like you like toasted ass bread.

I'd have to say that one of the best dishes I've ever had is Thai curry at this one restaurant I went to once. It was so gooood and you could taste the coconut milk in it and gah.

i had this burger at a restaurant once (it had some weird name, which i can't remember). it had a bunch of shit on it i don't normally like, but because i'd liked the weird name it had, i ordered it. It was amazing. To this day, i've been trying to find a burger that was as good, and simply can't. the best part was the "house sauce" that was on there, it was just fantastic.

But I love Cantonese style fried rice too! Sooner or later I'll go to China to try the real thing! xD

Also, when I was an exchange student in Cracow, my "polish mother" cooked these sweet pierogi that were sooo good :Q

When I came to Seattle to visit in May, my mother and I went to El Gaucho and I think the name of what we ordered was Chateaubriand? It was fucking hilarious, because we walked into this super fancy restaurant in jeans and t-shirts, and then we ordered the most expensive dish on the menu. But it was filet mignon, lobster tails, an entire fucking thing of cheesy potatoes, and my mom ordered me this fancy ass wine. When we were done, they brought out a huge fruit/nut basket for dessert and let us take it home with us.

I've never been so full, but god damn that was good food.

High quality cheesecake is by far my favorite. Best thing in this material state of existance, as far as food goes that is. A very thick and ritch plate of fettuccine alfredo would be a close second, with a side of garlic toast.

Cured sausages and meats, cheese, onion, peppers, tomato, olives, dense, whole grain bread (or crackers), and mustard from a good deli is about as good as it gets.

Probably have to go with fish pie with cheesy mash on top, thats just godly.

Although i love noodles to, my favorite thing may change when i actually make a proper noodle dish and not just out of the packet instant.

Steak as well, just any kind. love it, medium/rare delicious :D

I don't really like just one dish. But a collection of different rolls and sushi when I go to all you can eat restaurants. And dem shrimp tempuras. So good. I want to go to an actual sushi bar at some point, actual Japanese rice and Japanese dudes making sushi, not some Chinese guy here in Toronto. :[
