| Alright, I'll give my (unwanted) opinion about this as a girl. The uggs are UGGly. Really. Almost any girl with a reasonable sense of fashion would agree with me. It's even more pathetic to wear those boots with shorts. The whole yoga pants thing is "meh." Yoga pants are better than those black tights that some girls mistake for pants - then it just looks gross (even if you have a great body - wearing tights as pants is just terrible). The tights only look good when paired with a mid-thigh dress or something. Anyway, I don't wear anything I'd consider as "pajamas" or "chill out" clothes out in public. Especially at school. I know they want to be comfortable - but it looks lazy. But you know what's worse than that? The baggy sweat pants and boot combination that plagued my high school. But, in the end, everyone dresses the way they want to - even if it looks terrible. On another note, I saw some people mention in this forum that Asians do yoga pants style the most. I think that's a "no." A majority of the time, Asians have an amazing sense of fashion. All of my Asian girlfriends wear some of the cutest clothes and never leave the house without dressing up. |

Sometimes in the winter I might double up and wear them with boots that way (my legs stay warm that way), or I might wear them under jeans. I don't wear yoga pants though.e I don't do yoga... and neither do half the old moms that wear them out downtown Neiman Marcus, Urban Outfitters. They ain't that fit. Leggings aren't for everyone though. And some leggings just shouldn't be worn. |
| I love wearing yoga pants, I have a lot of pairs of all types. I think they're very appropriate to wear tbh, I'm in college and it's probably one of the most common outfits amongst the girls. I can slip them on, put on a tshirt for just comfy wear and sneakers. But for nicer wear they're perfect too, with a nicer top and boots. Especially the thick leggings for the winter. And of course working out in them and dancing in them works out the best. |
