Well if the box is going to have English subs maybe I should import instead of buying the American release then?

As if the last OVA aka "Last Resort" didn't already fuck up the overall quality of this series; now this!?

Seeing as how it's already ruined anyway, I suppose it cannot get any worse than its finale/epilogue. ;p
HAPPY SCANS!

If it's going to be anything like the disappointing "final" episode of the OVA, I'll probably pass...

Considering the writer, this has the potential to be hilarious.

Considering this will simply be a short OVA about how the squad handles a Zeon ambush, I don't think that's likely to be the case. Different formats and different contexts.

Doesn't really sound like it will be similar to the last episode at all, so that prejudice is a bit unnecessary.

Hey. This is the only Gundam team that matters, so they better NOT fuck this up.

Bandai doesn't bring DVDS or blurays state side anymore because they closed their American distribution center.

I know that, but what I was asking is if the Japanese Blu-Rays will be English subbed like with AGE, Unicorn, and Code Geass: Akito. Cause if they are not going to be subbed I'm not wasting my money on it and instead I'll just buy the American release before November or before the end of the year before the prices become too ridiculous cause its OOP.

It could possibly still get a limited release here at least in Blu-ray form.

Bandai Visual japan was the one that released Blu-ray version of Gundam Unicorn in the North America region(Bandai USA handled the DVD version). It's mostly due to japan & NA sharing the same blu-ray region. So it made sense to have the japanese parent company handle it. They're still releasing the newest volumes of Gundam Unicorn well after Bandai USA stopped publishing(probably just importing copies).

So if 08th MS Team's license goes back to japan, they could possibly release it on their own. Maybe like what Aniplex does, with limited number of copies for pre-order.
