Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
| Another nice episode, introducing Strarf into the group this time around. Nice to see her slow (not in the first second) transition into being part of the group. - Nice way to say hello and to test one's strength. - Quite sad to see Strarf a.k.a Hina being sad.... - Angelic maid~ - Shinkis can consume, along with analyze food now :o - Octupus now on zee menu~ - Hina isn't having your weaponized food business! Back into food it goes! - Hina's expression at the end was pricelessly cute Can't wait for episode 3 now with Yda and Ach battling it up with a now happy Hina :) ------------ Edit: For those skimming - Busou Shinkis are not Figmas, they are their own line. It would also help if you don't compare this to Infinite Stratos because both are completely different in everything. |

This episode was plain weird. It was so weird with all the gimmick that I have decided to do a list of them.
About the beginning, I find the start in the spoiler About the conference, I liked before it happens Strarf in the spoiler  Have come from the spoiler About the cooking part, oh dear what a BIG ROFL for the spoiler About thee end, well seems that enemies in the spoiler  That was best as it showed a side of her not seen much at all. | Actually I find many of the angles and situations during the cooking scenes cute AND erotic. For a Shinki, cooking is tougher than doing battles.... Anybody wants a deep-fried Shinki? What a (Shinki) harem anime I've wached.... |

| Konami really knows who they are marketing this show to. The main people buying Busou Shinki toys has always been young adult males (and older), for the most part. Even though some of us girls collect them too, they're definitely going for home on this one. I am still quite enjoying this show, but goodness did this ep make me feel a little dirty. Hina is too cute, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed to see at least a little bit of Werkstra. ...also don't call them Figmas, they're Shinki, not figmas. The MMS style body and first Shinki toy release was in 2006, two years before Figma toys came out. They also pose MUCH better than figmas because of the specialized body. :) |

| Pretty peaceful episode apart from those two troublemakers. Hina doesn't seem to be accustomed to a life without fighting but judging from the preview it seems that she will have her fair share of fighting up ahead. The other three seem to enjoy there peaceful life so i wonder how they will get along with all the fighting. |

| I still love the ending of Busou Shinki's more than the other fall anime. I'm starting to like Hina. She's just acting all tsun-tsun. My favorite would still be Arn. ^_^ The cooking looks fantastic. Hina proved herself wrong by practically preparing the whole meal. Can't cook my butt. Can't wait for the next episode. Some action and fan service. :3 Ah... I wish I have Shinki's serving me and calling me master. I also wish I was actually born a Japanese instead of Chinese... |

MMS, or "Multi-Movable system" is a thing of its own. Figmas are from GoodSmile Company while Shinkis with their MMS patent are from Konami, as their own little figure brand. Just helping you out :) The ecchiness in this episode didn't really phase me until people mentioned it. The only thing that really stood out was the octopus that decided to wreck havoc, but that is only because I got the ecchi suggestion from other shows. |

I think the apron thing, various scenes of food preparation and the very intriguing camera angle all stood out... Well, food and sex often come together, right? :-D I would in fact vote this anime as the second most erotic anime this season, beating clearly fan-service anime like OniAi (well, ToLoveRu Darkness is damn hard to beat) |

| Nice episode. This is that kind of show that you only need to watch, relax and enjoy, it's like a break after watching the other series of this season which are quite intense. |

| Well not what I expected, but in a good way. I thought this series was going to center around the plot, but I guess instead it centers around the Shinkis and their cheerful time or something of that sort. I liked this episode for that, and hope to see some action (like described) in the next episode. I felt empathy towards Hina (Strarf) because she was so disappointed and down. I do hope that the master can pay attention to her as well. 4/5 |

| I still don't know what to think of this series. The setting is interesting, but all they've done so far is hang around the house. At least Hina actually wants to fight. I'll give it another episode. That one looks more action packed anyway. |

| Eh...the show still has potential, but it's mostly being wasted. I won't drop it yet, but unless it gets better within the next few episodes I probably will. And Jesus, the puns...c'mon man... I do really like Hina, though. The series could focus more on her learning how to be less battle-hungry and interact better with the other shinkis. |

| Tentacle rape... a must have for any anime haha Kinda expected Hina to have a tendency for battling. But Hina was seriously damn cute when she was blushing. I dunno whether its just me... but I would prefer just a more normal day-to-day activities with character developments compared to battling. |

In fact judging from the reactions in Japan many fans find it refreshing to see figurines built for battles doing things like cooking (and find it much harder to do compared to battles) If it can keep the balance between battles and this kind of slice-of-life fun, we will have a winner at hand this season. |

| I know it's just fan service and cute girls doing cute things with a sci fi twist, but i love it all the same. It pulled out all the stops without being annoying, i loved the octopus scene and the general flirty nature of the shinki. I am definitely weak to dem robot lolis. |

| Somehow this is just a lot of fun to watch. We only saw the hamster once in his episode, I wonder if we'll see it in the next episode. Next episode will have some action, I'm looking forward to it. |

| OK I am so glad I picked it up, I liked the story from the sypnosis on ANN, when they announced it. But when I heard that they "serve their master" I thought it would be some type of harem cliche. Thank goodness it isn't. ANd yeah i know, that 6 inch shinki wouldn't be able to do a harem. anyways the detail about them being that small wasn't in the sypnosis either. Anyways I am glad that Masato? is just a background character. The 4 main shinkis are really great characters, can't wait to see more! PS. no necessary octopus and it's tentacles...gross. Now I want a shinki! or 4! They're so cute! |

| Looks like Hina's swordsmanship skills really came in handy. Quite a cute depiction of the Shinki's preparing food, they actually made it look easy despite their height. I liked how Arn calculated taste with statistics in her vision. |
