| It doesn't annoy me but at the same time I'm not exactly attracted to it. I'd much rather prefer realistic hair colors anyday but I won't stop watching a series just because the girls have every color of the rainbow on their head. |

Fake hair colours are typical of japanese art...in comics they're much less used... It's not that they decide if you like an anime or not, but it influences the aesthetics, at the very least... Online you can even find some speculations about relations between hair color and character traits. Anyway I think it's worth the discussion :D |
If it's one color. It's okay for me. But something like this :  It annoys me. I know it has its use to make various chara design, but at least keep the same hair color for one character, except if the scenario needs something like this. |

| Doesn't affect me at all, actually in my opinion it's a great way to make the characters unique. On the other hand I somtimes react to siblings that have totally different haircolors from their parents and their brothers/sisters. |

| It annoyed me in La Corda since I was reading the manga. Their hair colour was on the cover but I never really paid attention to it until they had an all-group shot with like...awful shades of green, some dusty maroon-ish thing. |

| Depends, if it's like a fantasy or scifi anime, whatever it's cool. but if it's Slice of Life, then yea it's annoying. Especially if the people related to character also have wildly different hair color that no where near similar. Like the Mother has blue hair and the daughter has red hair and the sibling has blond hair. But the sign of a shitty artist is one who uses wild hair colors and shapes. Because their not good enough to make subtle unique things about his characters or all his characters have the same face. |

| What annoys me is not the colors, but the inconsistency in coloring them in one series. For example is Matsuoka Miu from Ichigo Mashimaro manga, in the few first chapters her hair was colored black, but then turns to light brown onward. Same thing happens to Ito Nobue on the same series. |

| I think all hair colors gives off more on their personalities , pink haired ones has a cute side , purple haired characters are always in love with someone , blue hair = cool , blonde = elegant and well mannered . Well that's what I've notice with most of the girls with different hair colors. |

| It doesn't annoy me, nor do I like it. I mean, thats probably why Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is appealing to me - they all , if not all, have black hair. Its anime, its not supposed to be realistic, its a cartoon. Like for example the animated cartoon here in America on Disney Channel, Phineas and Ferb. Ferb has green hair. But I think thats almost like a trademark for anime is that the characters have different colored hair. |

| Have you ever watched an anime when people have almost the same hair color(since it's set in japan) and their faces are smiliar(since it's anime, and there's a limit to real human faces detail)? yeah because it would not be so cool, it could only work for slice of life, or else you could forget whos who. Unrealistic hair colors allow the mangaka to make more unique characters. |

| It annoyed me when I first starting watching, but then I got used to it. I guess it adds a little variety to characters. Also its hard for an artist to come up with diff char designs for every character so hair color helps to distinguish characters from each other. It does get kind of distracting sometimes though, especially the rainbow stuff and when characters have weird colored eyebrows too, because then it usually rules out the possibility that maybe Japanese people just really like to dye their hair >_> |

Most of them more normal colors (i.e. various shades of brown and blonde), but I do know guys who had blue, red, and green hair, and even a girl who had pink hair. For your average anime, I find that it is more exaggerated than completely unrealistic though of course there are anime like Yu-Gi-Oh and Shiki that take it even further still. |

| I've never really taken notice it's not like it looks out of place or anything but i do think it adds more variety to the characters. not to fond of purple hair though for some reason, but not because its not natural purely because i dont like it ^_^. If it suits the character then fine, if it doesnt then its not cool :P Never really seen someone with technicoloured hair in anime so cant comment on that :) Im not a huge fan of impossible hair styles though, they usually look weird/out of place. unless its yugi hes allowed :D |
