I avoid looking anything up about the series and/or character.
Or if I really have to, for reference pictures or something, I scroll by really fast so I don't read anything.

But if by some chance I do come across a big spoiler, I curse the world and get pissed about it for a few hours. Nothing more I can do after that, though.

I don't care about spoilers. It's one thing to know what happens, it's another to watch it happen.

But yes, someone should prolly fix that profile.

There's only two series that I care about being spoiled in.

And frankly, I avoid discussion of them because of it. However, if I was spoiled, I'd try to forget.

I try to avoid spoilers for stories I care about. But I just can't resist clicking the big spoiler button! Or when it's the spoiler you have to highlight to read. I just have to highlight it.

I try so hard not to look up the series or characters but it's so damn tempting! I then when I do I always find that BIG FAT spoiler that I didn't want to come across. Then I get annoyed at myself for looking it up. But I never seem to learn...

To be honest, I actually don't care.
As long as I know what happens in the end. xD
But I watch it anyway (for enjoyment).

Usually I'll just postpone whatever series it was I was going to watch(if its a series I haven't started yet) until I've forgotten the spoiler.

As for a spoiler of a series I'm already watching, its much more of a disappointed feeling rather than anger, it just sucks the will to watch the rest of the series. CODE GEASS SPOILER, BEWARE:

It doesn't bother me SO much. Because you're figuring out all the information one way or another. But some situations are kinda...spoilerific. Like you want to experience a big, dramatic, surprising event in it's big, dramatic, inconceivably surprising way, to savor and enjoy it properly. It's good to have just a little bit of mystery in the film, especially at certain points like plot twists and things that change the show significantly. And enjoy them in show with the feel they're supposed to have.

But honestly, that doesn't ruin it as bad as someone coming in during a big dramatic moment and disturbing the whole thing. You won't believe how many times I've RAAAAAAAGED over a phone call during a big dramatic moment. I've literally had to tape my phone up or else the batteries would fall out due to what I did to it. I've never even got the slightest bit irritated by receiving a spoiler. Ok, maybe a bit slightly irritated a few times, a little grit of the teeth at most, very most, and then moved on easily.

And even when hearing a spoiler, I'm still sort of in disbelief. Even though there'd be no reason to lie about such a thing. Or at least a someone would be unlikely to do so in my experience. So it's still sort of a process of discovery and mystery, when I'm going to get to this supposed spoiler. Best thing I do it try to forget it and pretend like it didn't happen. You won't forget it completely probably, but it's less of a spoiler than if you dwell on it an think about it as opposed to ignoring it and quickly moving on.

Old avatar and sig retired for now.

It is a 3 step process

1. "AH so it's this what will happen!"
2. "Oh fuck, now I'll know what will happen and I'll expect for it anytime during the episodes..."
3. "Maybe it was not true. Maaaaybe it was NOT true. Let's see how it goes.

But I don't get irritated. I only find small spoilers when I watch online and there are comments under the video. Sometimes I read them before I watch, but after 2 episodes I learn which series has a spoiling public and which series doesn't. I never read about a series before I watch it. Other spoilers are achieved by friends when they sometimes slip on a detail.

Because, really, some series lose all the spice if you get spoiled.

Well, I had just had a new msn friend, she was a big Orochimaru fan like I was at the time, so we discussed about him a while and then she just asked:

And of course I was shocked :d like EXCUSE ME? She didn't even expect I wouldn't want to hear anything from the upcoming events... and I'm extremely aware of any kind of hints from them too, it applies to every series I'm watching...
I started ranting to my best friend about it and I asked if she wanted to hear what had exposed, so I told the spoiler and she didn't even mind although she's a Naruto fan too....

It may be that I overreacted a bit but my hands were really shaking and stuff :D the msn person even asked right after spoiling me, "did I spoil you?"

>_>.. no ma'am

I don't go to MAL's IRC channel as often as I once did because of a certain user (*cough*CLOUD1234*cough*) spoiling Kanon 2006.

I also RAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE when users spoil stuff on forums and then act like I'M the one at fault for being upset.

I get mad for a while, maybe curse, but after a while I get over it. No spoiler I've read has ever totally ruined an anime/manga for me. . . but I still don't like being spoiled. :/

Still, spoiler tags = ultimate temptation. Especially for series I plan to watch xD

When I get spoiled I try my best to forget it. The IRC is a dangerous place for spoilers, and I've been spoiled on:
Clannad AS (still unaired)
School Days (Many a time, reading animesuki threads and MAL threads = mistake)
Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen
Always the best ones you get spoiled on... D:

Then there was code geass R2 ending of course.
And Legend of the Galactic Heroes
Gundam 00
Wolfs Rain (can't even bring myself to complete this series it's so boring... indefinite on-hold)
I've been spoiled on more than this - I've just managed to forget it, thankfully.

If I get spoiled, I usually put the series off until I've forgotten about the spoiling. Or sometimes, a spoiler may even make me see a series I normally wouldn't watch. Yandere and Yangire snaps for example, might happen far into a series that would otherwise look mediocre. And if you just get a single event spoiled, it may stell be interesting to see just how it happened.

I simply rage, scream out swear words etc if it's something i'd be really be looking forward to. The worst is the moment it happens is completely ruined, such as the ending in one anime. If I knew it didn't end that way I'd probably be way more surprised and had a completely different reaction.

I usually don't read anything other than synopsis and reviews for shows that i plan to watch. Then whilst i'm watching a show i only visit episode discussions when i've actually watched the episode the thread is about.

I get some annoying spoilers on msn though. Get pissed for a while, then just go quiet and it sinks in that whatever has been spoiled for me won't have any real suspense. If i knew L would die in Death Note or knew the Code Geass R2 ending then it wouldn't have the same impact on me at all.
Do you know of ‘The Magnificent Steiner’ ? The main character was normally a weak, sickly man. When he was in an emergency, someone would come and help him. A secret friend. But, the main character never realised...... that his secret friend....Was himself.
