| Hmm interesting ... a fun start, with a simple plot and little exposition. Animation looks a little old now, and it was a bit too silly in places, but I certainly enjoyed it as an opening episode. Shame I'm so far behind! Still, might watch the first series and see how it goes from there. 4/5 |

| It's funny how my opinion of One Piece just completely flipped as I went forward into the show. For anyone who is watching this show for the first time believe me when I say: This was completely worth watching and STILL is. |

| Yeah. You see people dropping this because they think it has bad art or is too long or is silly, or worse, because the fanbase is horrible (I lol last time I heard that). They are truly missing one of the best, if not the best, epic adventure ever made. |

| Can anyone give me an opinion if this is worth the time, it might be good but have never seen a single episode.. and 400++ episodes are sooo many hours i can waste on other anime.. so tell me, is this SO good that i should use all these hours on it.. or just jump over this one for the sake of other anime?? even more, if i should pick a serie which have been around for a long time, should i pick one piece, or something else like bleach? Edit 27.05.14: just came back to comment on my own message for all those who might care. I have watched up to the newest episode a long time ago, just felt like telling people that this show truly is worth the many hours. 10/10 show. |

| ^don't waster your time on bleach.. more than half of the show are fillers.. onepiece is worth every episode ^_^ (best voice actors, awesome humor, and drama you've never seen) first 7 episodes may seem average.. just don't drop it.. you won't regret it |

| well finally i started watching OnePiece heard great things and i liked the first episode looking forward to this series. With this i can complete the "holy trinity of anime" aka naruto, bleach and OnePiece lol |
| I finally got around to watching this. I am not impressed yet, but I am expecting great things from this in the future. I have had many friends recommend this to me with the utmost passion and I am not going to be discouraged by how it looks early on. The one thing that kept me from watching this for a long time was the 4kids dub that aired on TV, which absolutely destroyed the series for me, but so far I am liking how Funimation handles it. I will of course be watching this subbed after I go through all the dub eps, but the dub is good enough quality for me to enjoy. |

| I feel daunted starting this because of the length since I could watch tons of different anime, but it was a decent start. It sounds like I'm in for a great adventure so I might stick with it. |
| And thus begins the start of my long journey to try and catch up with this show. I really enjoyed the first episode, I don't see any possibility in this show maintaining a great story throughout but I'll just have to wait and see what happens. |

| Don't know why I ended up starting this. All I can think so far is that Luffy is a quite funny character and that the boy with the glasses is annoying. Good stuff overall so far. I'll try to give it a chance, it is my first longass series after all. |
