| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The girl who was on the wheelchair is in the same class, and she got friends other than Takanashi, who feels lonely. Their relations got weird. ... again, with the help of the counselor. Basketball team sempai is back to school, and is training the main girl, who cannot go home with Takanashi anymore. The girl who got out of wheelchair wanted to do something for Takanashi so that she can let her go. The main girl's friend from basketball team also tries to help Takanashi with her worry. Sempai's love apologized to her, but she doesn't remember/confused about the relations. Takanashi's being crazy also affecting another world. Edit: From now on, I'm going to call wheelchair girl as KitaEri girl (since I just saw the list that KitaEri does voice of her, and I didn't realize it the whole time, even the KeyHoleTV screen was not clear enough to see the list). |

| Welp, Yomi has lost her mind XD We FINALLY get to see some STR. She throws Chariot's head and body into a chasm. Saya took Yomi's coffee cup home...with the coffee still inside, it looks like. So...she's still being creepy. Kohata's crush calls her out, and it looks like he apologized and confessed to also having the same feelings...but Kohata says she doesn't know what he's talking about, and leaves him alone in the rain. Scene had a very eerie mood. ------- Preview for Episode 5 is on the official site: http://www.noitamina-brs.jp/ It looks like Saya is choking Mato 0_0 The arms look like an adults. I think in the same scene, Mato sees a flash of BGS's eyes. |

| I didn't get this episode... only got that kagari is now nice and yomi is about to go mad... and then people say guilty crown doesn't make sense... DAMN WHY IS SUPERCELL ALWAYS DOING THINGS THAT ARE AMAZINGLY SUGOI BUT I DON'T GET THE STORY!!! ; o ; but it was nice ... = u = """ and saya-chan-sensei is really creeping me out she's a creep and i think she'll get really psycho in the end and at the really end sugoi brs/mato is getting her in a normal mood or kill her = u = """" i think more that she'll end up being good... | It wasn't half bad, I'd say - even though the net of relationships is quite shallow and the emotions between characters are now almost of a hyperbolic nature. But it's not like anyone's expecting BRS to be deep or anything - some things need to be overexposed so that understanding of the whole would be easier. But everything aside, Saya is a one creepy dame - using subliminal stimuli to convey poisonous words in a simple "slip of the tongue"... She's a scary one all right. Nothing much happened in this episode - apart from Yomi seeing red and shit hitting the fan - but it was fun to watch, and didn't drag on. 4/5 for this episode. |

| the sleeping giant awakens - Dead Master has returned! my reaction: 1. i think at this point we're still unable to discern Saya's true goal. out of the cast, she's obviously the one most in-tune with the BRS world, as indicated by her motive to mentally push Yomi over the edge and provoking DM. 2. many things were brought up that lead to speculation. we see Strength's first appearance, dumping off Chariot somewhere. who's side is STR on, and what's her motive? will Chariot make her return? Kohata has lost her feelings, possibly as a result of her BRS counterpart's beheading we saw last episode. was this side effect something intended by Black Rock Shooter? how will this fit into Saya's plans? 3. DM's all green attire is kind of growing on me. at first I didn't like it but the color seems to add a surprisingly distinguishable amount of depth. emo Yomi is borderline Yandere. i love it! |

BUT... the overly sensitive Yomi jabs hard at a pet peeve of mine... which is people being emotional over every little thing. @_@; I enjoy the anime but at the same time... I can't deny the partial annoyance I have over Yomi at the moment. >_< SAVE HER BLACK ROCK SHOOTER!!! |

| This one was a lot better than last one. I liked it! Things are starting to get tense again, and we didn't get the cheap tears and emotions episode 3 had. Still, even if this one lacked a bit of Other-World action, it was amazing for character development. And Saya is indeed BGS... Meh, it was easily predictable, but only now that I noticed how Saya's eyes are indeed red just like BGS'. Still, like many people said here, the situation changed now, Yomi is the one a little insane and Kagari is perfectly fine. Seems like Yomi actually liked being "essential" to Kagari. |

| WTF is Saya doing to these kids ???? This show is getting interesting and annoying at the same time that is I'm realy interested in how is saya connected to the other world and what is her goal but on the other hand I was realy annoyed with the amount of teenage drama in this episode I know that they are like 12 and they are all traumatized by Saya with hers creepy counseling but I couldn't but not get anoyed. So the things that caught my atention in this episode are: - It seams that everything does not become perfect when BRS kills someone because the real world person looses all his memory connected with their trauma. -Judging by the preview ,ep 5 is going to be awesome lots of BRS battling and other world characters are getting involved in real world?(someone strangling Mato ,Saya or Yomi) Anyway however I look at this show I think that they should've gone with the manga plot it was much more interesting at least that's the case with me. |

| aside from the very beginning it felt like they almost went the whole episode without showing the other world, hopefully now that yomi is going ape-shit we can finally see more of the other world. i feel like this series is constantly trying to underwhelm me. most people came for the action and the other world with the actual title character, but its taken a back seat to the real world. i forgave the ova bcuz they tried to do a lot in only 40 mins, now i think they are trying to do too much for 8 episodes. hopefully they can tie it all together in the last 4 episodes. |

When I lose friends, I let them go, there's no use forcing them back with me, it'd just make them hate me. |
| Poor Yomi. This is interesting, though. I hope she stays crazy for a little whiles longer. And while Kagari's still cruel, I like her a lot better now than I did when she first appeared. She still has personality problems, but she's a bit better, even after the end of this ep. I'm also interested to see what's up with the other girl. I wanna know why she forgot about that guy, unless she just repressed that memory of her embarassment herself (unlikely; that counselor's still uber sketchy). o.0 |

| While I do think that show is really good at portraying convincing 12yrold girls, I do also thinks Yomi is overeacting to a point I really wish that Saya is drugging the people or... At least doing something magical? Because if Kohata wasn't pulling an act, that fainting out on last epi means she lost her memories after going to Saya, which by the way is really making me interested in knowing just wth is she up to. lol So yeah, the show is a bit short of all it could be but I'm enjoying it. |

| Easily the best episode so far. I really want to know what the fuck's going on with that counselor. And basketball girl forgetting the guy she confessed to. I feel really sorry for Yomi. Everyone is so oblivious to her feelings. I can't believe Mato is so bad about neglecting her. |

| It's funny how like, 5 people thought Saya was BGS on here...and now everyone is on the bandwagon XD Kohata wasn't the only one who lost her memories; Kagari said she doesn't remember needing Yomi, and she thinks Yomi did a lot for her. I'm wondering if BGS is setting BRS up; having BRS break the bond between people by cutting off the heads of their counterpart in the other world...the ones that are being "hurt" in the situation (Kagari being jealous about Yomi becoming friends with Mato; being completely dependent on her, and Kohata and the letter). That's pretty morbid if that is the case, LOL. |

| The only thing I can't forgive this episode and this TV show for is Dead Master's change in design from the OVA. I guess the glasses and veil were okay while Dead Master was in Chariot's possession--made her seem doll-like--but I wish Dead Master would've gotten rid of them now. But I love everything else about the episode. So from what I can discern about what happened to Kohata and Kagari, their other world counterparts represent their despair, probably born from Black Gold Saw. But when their counterparts are killed by Black Rock Shooter, they lose that despair and all memories related to it. So Kohata forget about the boy and the teasing and Kagari forget about how much Yomi slaved for her. |

| Man, I feel so bad for Yomi. Kagari and Yomi's situations have been swapped pretty much. OWOW SAYA, YOU MANIAC! Seriously though, Saya is such a manipulative bitch. Someone needs to bitchslap her good! Yomi going psycho and looks like her true Dead Master form has arrived, those skulls. Black Rock Shooters needs to save her NOW! :D It's a shame we didn't see much of the BRS world in this episode. Wanted to see more of BRS. Ah well, next episode is guaranteed to be great. Nevertheless loved this episode. @Seeker: I agree with you. DM's design in the OVA was a lottttt better than this version. If the TV Anime had the OVA designs, I think I'd jizz non-stop... figuratively speaking ROFL. :D |

| Sorry, Yomi's drama is far too forced. I get where they are trying to do, but no... trying to hard makes it far to forced and unnatural. Kagari's changes are more understandable, due to the events of episode 2, but even her character change is far too drastic. She goes from being totally relient on Yomi, to completely rejecting Yomi's previous affection for her. Yes, she finds new friends, but does she have to suddenly decide that Yomi never really helped her at all? Also the relationships are too black and white, making them extremely shallow. Also, they brushed off the plot with the basketball team captain pretty fast. I guess it was only used to show the counsellor's power? Not very well integrated in this episode... They just stuffed it in the middle of the episode for no reason and I have a feeling that this doesn't get resolved... Bring back the fighting scenes please. Countless others shows do drama far better. The fighting however is more unique and more interesting. |

| Hello. I watched the episode in RAW and didn't get what the counselor said to Yomi, nor what Kagari said to Yomi after giving her the cookies. Could someone post it please? -------------------------------------------- Quite the best episode so far ... I think. Though Yomi feeling all emo and useless just made me go like "you're way too f*cking generic" and well ... it didn't turn out really bad towards the end. Also, that background track in the DM vs BRS battle was just amazing. Ryo I love you. Again. |
| I really wanna know what the heck is up with the counselor; i mean seriously, also wasn't she crying out of now where last episode to what she did in this one; my guess is that she is aware of the other world and is manipulating it through the normal one; well just a guess, but if i remember correctly she said "success" when Yomi broke as if she was aiming for something similar for all the characters from the get go. |

| Best episode so far,Yomi Breaks. Saya its just a bitch telling Yomi that was soooo bitchy,she is just manipulating everyone an it looks she wants that every student she visit to break. Yomi drama was big this episode forced ya but still i find it quite entertaining no less specially she snapping up in her bed by seein Yuu message was so good. Kagari is good to see she is finally less crazy and she was super popular i know she had a good hearth since the moment i saw her :D Still she forgot about everything about Yomi,as the president of the basketball team i think it has something to do with BRS maybe if she kills their representation in the other world all their despair,suffering and problems just forgets that is why maybe Saya cry last episode since she fail to make her as crazy as is Yume right now. Well just theories for now hopefully next episode we could know some more and see what Yomi reactions are going to be. |

| Yomi's reaction may seem a bit exxagerated but it's understandable. Feeling useless and unloved often leads to such behaviour especially when a person is as shy and introverted as Yomi. I already suspected that BRS beheading people couldn't be entirely good. Seems like she releases their human conterparts from their stress but they also lose emotions that were connected with their breakdown. |

| Kagari...looks like nozomi..sasaki.. KAGARI LEVELS UP And oh how the mighty have fallen. Yomi is the biggest drama queen i swear. Suck it up princess. However, I do admit Kagari's visit was the dickest move, but that was most likely due to the school counsellor. The counsellor can erase/manipulate memories? Hypnosis? Drugs? Her coffee (or at least I think it was the coffee, can't remember) erased the basketball coach's memories of the guy, and the counsellor's red BRS chick taking away Kagari's one has erased Kagari's memories as well. Well at least we know that there is a direct link between both worlds now, and that the BRS world can directly affect the real world. 5/5 Frkn amazing episode imo. |
