| I don't really prefer sports manga or anime. Only a couple that I will watch, but I'm a little more open to it these days. I think it stems from me just never liking sports to begin with. And if it counts, I'll also say hentai. Because I never care to watch that. I've also never been a mecha fan, but I am looking to make myself more...versed...in it. Anyone have recommendations for someone casually looking at mecha? Especially if I don't have a predisposition toward actually liking giant robots and mobile suits... |
| ecchi, romance, slice of life, harem but when i write this i know that there are ALWAYS exceptions. in general i like to say that it doesn't matter what the genre is, as long as its good. so those happen to be the ones whose shows piss me off the most. |

| Not a huge fan of mecha or sports. But i give them a chance if i see an anime with that genre that looks interesting. Like Kuroko no Basket :3 Love that anime! Have yet to find a mecha anime that i like though. |

| yaoi / sports / music although i have little to no experience in these genres, I find myself to look away relatively quite quickly when i notice any of these... but who knows, maybe that can change over the course of time |

| Reverse Harem, yaoi/shounen ai, Shoujo Shoujo is one my most hated genres ive wasted so much time on shoujos believing Fangirls that the anime is actually good when all they care about is bishies. All the ratings and reviews give it praise with 10's down the board. Then i send 5 episode on a shit anime and drop it giving it less than 4 sigh never again shoujo NEVER. |

| i hate animes that have slow development. e.g. Bokura Ga Ita. Also Harems and Yuri. I usually enjoy most animes, i guess it just depends on the way they portray a character's voice or present the anime itself. |

| Mecha- I've seen some good animes around mechs, but only ones that develop the characters instead of always hiding them in metal machines... Yaoi: Usaully when two boys love eachother in an anime series they get ready to pounce on the other... they are too quick to love and you miss charater development. Yuri: same thing they have no restraint... girls are at least a bit more social and tend to do crazy things like ask someone to go to the restroom with them(where guys do not). so I find it more understandable seeing as females tend to be more comfy with eachother, but none the less its more or less for fanservice. Ecchi: I'd like a story please! fanservice can only appeal to me if i care about the characters... In which case they wouldn't be characters that flaunt themselves around so easily, that just makes them boring. harem: one question. Why does everyone have to like one guy/girl? usually the one they like is so boring or generic(mr. nice guy that can do no wrong). sports: never was fascinated with sports. why watch it when you could play it? eyeshield was perty good though (had some funny parts) well those are all my opinion. I just though I'd give a reason why i tend not to care for those genres. |

I like to watch anime that immerses me in a completely made up world. It could have concepts of reality and still be intresting to me, but for the most part if i could walk out my front door and partake of events that happen in anime I lose intrest. I didn't say all sports animes where bad eyeshield was an intresting show, but eyeshield's characters are more like superheros... just my opinion though lol. |
