| I like Hunter x Hunter fights in general. They use powers, but are powers with rules. The fights are real, not like other animes: the character is sliced and then regenerated. Hunter x Hunter is different. If you let your guard down, you may die. Or not. If the opponent overestimate himself (letting his guard down) it's your turn to kill him. Reality with fantasy, magic. The best fight was Kurapika vs Uvo. Until now. |

| Sword of the Stranger definitely has one of the most thrilling sword fights ever made! I'm talking of course about the final fight between the Nanashi and the foreigner. It's badass and epic, yet realistic and sort of beautiful. I love it! Other favorites that im sure you're all familiar with are Spike vs Vicious and Gurren Lagann vs the Anti Spiral - Doesn't get more insane than that last one xD |

| Most of the fights in Fate\Zero. Those were just golden moments and really well visualized, eye candy all over the place. Kiritsugu vs Kirei are one of the most thrilling fights I've seen, even though it was only a bit short, but there were other fights in the show that just made up for it. Legend of the Galactic Heroes - Yang Wenli vs The Empire was always amazing to follow, the moves they, the plan and the psychological game they played with each other are just jaw dropping to watch. I still rewatch some of the major space battles in the show from time to time. Katanagatari - The last 20min of the final episode. Just epic! There are tons more, but I can't come up with all of them as of this moment, so much good fights in anime in general. |

| Well there sure are alot of those, but the 1s ive really been thinking about lately are Ichigo vs Kenpachi & Ishida vs Mayuri, both mad good fights and its just sad that Bleach couldnt keep up how it was. Ichigo vs Kenpachi = Kenpachi is like a true monster in this, big guy and it looks absolutely fantastic seeing how he moves there while Ichigo is cutting him and running around there looking like some ant. Ishida vs Mayuri, makes the whole thing look like completely different show. Serious, nice animation, great art, Tactics&strategy. |

Fuck i hate amv's, especially when they just overlap music over fights, but this is the only non taken down footage of the fight, also gintoki going beserk in episode 211 is also intense Also the entire last 3 episodes of rahXephon count, it was all a gigantic war pretty much and with a show that IS NOT afraid to kill of anyone and everyone, shit gets intense cause you dont know who will make it. |

| I don't know if there's another thread like this, but I'm interested in the topic. (I searched the first ten pages and didn't see anything.) I've been watching mostly Shounen anime for quite a while now, and the fights can sometimes be very interesting in execution, especially when there's a special circumstance surrounding them. I'm just wondering what your favorites are, and if you care to say, why? My favorite by far at this point is Luffy vs Eneru. If the fight is a spoiler, just hide the circumstances and the participants and post the name of the show and the episode number to make sure it's not spoiled for anyone. |
