| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The group are darkening because the opponent team for the final is strong. The opponents are going for winning this time (to get qualification for advancing). Opponent for Chihaya is weird. He wants "gomen nasai" ver. instead of "sumimasen" ver. of sorry. And organization is weird. Arata is working at bookstore. Ah, his internet was bad enough that he didn't check her emails, until using it at his working place. Even though the opponents are strong, everyone encouraging her to try her best, and she finally got into her rhythm. Fat guy knows his opponent, who verbally attacked him. Though he won. Taichi is a strategist, and won. Chihaya won with her card, and slept immediately. Arata got the notice about the advancing when checking, with a photo that he needs to tilt his head. |

 Now this is an episode i really, really liked! Taichi was so badass! Intelligence, beauty, kindness... I love him! Arata was cute! just living his normal life. He warmed my heart. Aw. |

I thought this too, but I guess its different since its a Josei sports and not a shonen sports. Anyway, another amazing episode. I love Chihaya blushing when she thought of Arata's hands and the cat at the bookstore was hilarious. I'm glad Arata finally got some screen time. This show is just too perfect. |

| I love this show so much it isn't even funny. Watching the matches gets me hype and I'm just over here cheering silently in my office as Chihaya and crew kick ass. Everyone was just awesome this episode and I love how Chihaya didn't let that guy get to her and she won her match. It's just so heartwarming to see them all come together as a team like that. I can't wait to see more Arata, he needs more screen time! |

| Not a big big fan of Arata nor I have anything against Taichi and I think I like both of them. I just want to see more of this well-crafted show. As someone mentioned awhile ago, this show really made a good used of shounen's style. More please. |

| Well this serie is always nice, love Chihaya team and could already predict that they would win the final match. ^_^ Something worry about me how Arata will joined the national, I can't remember which school he go but maybe he joined the school Karuta club over there after he read that Chihaya qualify to National. I don't know since I doubt he even got back on Karuta at that time since he still working instead of practice. |

| Good episode,this anime always make me smile. Arata getting spam by Chihaya was funny but i think it will be the only way he will look at it,and ya i also tilt my head at the end. Mizusawa win and are going to the Nationals,predictable but still it was fun to watch specially seeing at end Chihaya getting her card like that. BTW do a Barrel Roll! |
This is a beautiful anime, but for once, I had to pause and laugh it off as this part was just way to hilarious. Ruined the epicness for me xD |
| Who needs to watch sports when I can watch Japanese people play Karuta. 3 Moments made me scream SUP BITCHES YOU JUST GOT PWNED 1st was when Chihaya's opponent lost his first card after acting like an arrogant piss head, and I was like YEA YOUR SCREWED BOY. 2nd was when Porky did his barrel roll and I'm thinking KID STOP PLAYING UR PSP AND LRN 2 DO A BARREL ROLL (Also he was an ass for talking crap during game, so even though he was crying at end when he lost, I can't give him sympathy for talking smack and not backing it up) Finally was when the overconfident skinny kid thought he could beat Taichi from start but gets dominated after his mess up and I'm thinking Ummm yea LISTEN TO THE CARDS BRO, maybe you won't lose next time HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Sorry if I sound weird but this episode was EPIX. Also <3 Chihaya |

| I swear, this is impossible for me to stop watching. Usually I'd put an anime like this down immediatly because the heroine would annoy the heck out of me, and I'm not saying Chihaya doesn't annoy me, but there's something about her that makes me hate her, but then I also like her. Balancing it or wtvr. Now, my head hurts. But thing's for sure...this show is sort of predictable. NOT as predictable as Yumeiro Patissiere (god, that show was so annoying), but I sort of already know what's going to happen ...especially knowing that TAICHI likes her as well... |
| Phenomenal episode. Chihayafuru is almost as good as Ookiku Furikabutte as a sports / slice of life show, and that says something about the quality of this anime. Character development, tension building and direction are almost perfect every week. |

| Fuck, what an amazing episode. The silence was blissful and the eyes that seemed to reflect the world was simply stunning. Arata's sexy voice was the best though. |

| That Sudo character amused me lol. If he wasn't weird, he would be cool. When Sudo's and Chihaya's hands touched, she was all about Arata. I just don't get it, does she like him or not? If that's the case, my poor heart won't take Taichi getting all angsty =( I'd never thought but Taichi makes a good leader! When they won, his smile was the best =) |
