| I'm glad Kenji and his "girl" made it out alive. The ending was beautiful. While he's gone, Kenji did leave a small impact on Hei's life by slowly humanizing him and bringing closer with his neighbours, something he avoided doing probably because of his background/line of work. |

| gangster arc finally came to a conclusion. the ending wasn't that bad i guess because there was actually a message behind this story. find something to stake your life on to protect. |

| Another great episode for DTB. It was a slower one, but we go to see some development from all angles, such as with the dolls, and specifically Hei. He actually went out of his way to help Kenji. Loved that Yin came up to check up on Hei, and that she's worried about him. She's starting to be independent! I might be reading a bit too much into it, but when Hei gets asked if he has anything he'd like to protect, the cut shows him walking towards Yin. So cute! I hope Kenji and his "doll" lived happily ever after!! Can't wait for the next episodes, they should be picking up! #HeiXYin |

| Like the previous episode, a fine one and it was nice seeing Hei try his best to help out Kenji and the doll, and see Yin go to Hei out of her own accord but still feel like a lot of these developments don't really amount to anything so far given the pacing and development of the show so far. There's subtle development but the actual direction the show's going is pretty much nowhere and at a standstill and that's what makes this show to be average at best for me despite not necessarily being boring or painful to watch. At least it was a pretty heartwarming episode when just taking the episode into context and not the entire show so far, and it was nice seeing Hei bump into Misaki Kirihara again and have a little moment there, albeit a tad awkward since he was picking out female's underwear to purchase. |

| I did not care for Sakurai "falling in love" with the doll. It's actually kinda creepy if you think about it, which is a shame because I do like Sakurai, I just wish the writers handled it a little better. It would've been enough if he just did it because it was the right thing to do. Personally, I like the Jack x Misaki ship but Hei x Misaki isn't bad either. |

| Still questioning Hei's remuneration. Kind of a filler arc, they already showed us that dolls can think and feel. The most important information would be Yin's words. I guess Hei cares more about people and that's why she said he's different? There are still so many questions. |

| The parallels between Kenji and Hei with their respective "dolls" is noted here. I'm more in awe that Kenji actually survived, since I fully expected him to die. These subplots usually don't have endings that go so swimmingly (outside of Kenji's brother/boss getting killed). |
