| wtf how is there only one post on this episode is the best in the series so far. I cant believe they actually killed off Gen it's surprising since in anime good guys rarely killed. Still no bs i flat out crying at the end of the episode. Gen was a great character he will be missed. I really hate Masamori he really rubs me the wrong way. I wonder what kasamuri did to reject the princess? |

But It was a touching death! and Yoshimori got really upset and is all for revenge now...! And the mystery of Karasumori just deepens!!! Rejecting the princess says something. I wonder what the rest of the show will be like. |

| Shounen with character death get put on my better scale. Oddly enough, no sadness from me at all, even though Gen was my favorite "good" character. Hopefully more character development for Yoshi from this. (Btw, 36 &37 have their own discussion thread, few pages long) |
| Well that was weird, and abrupt, and rushed, and seemed unecessary. Everything was normal until, for no apparent reason, Yoshi starts crying (wtf) and Shishio dies. Oh sure, they made a justification while at it, but sudden drama that isn't believable can't be described as good drama, it just feels like a poor twist. Whatever. Now I can't shake the feeling this is gonna be Bounen no Xamdou all over again. |

I don't know what else you expected for the twist to be "necessary". What does that even mean? If it was necessary it wouldn't be a twist, it would be a logical conclusion. |

 Geeeeeeeeeeeeeen! When you try your hardest to stick to the "Main characters don't die" idea, but they completely crushed that for me. ( '︵' ) One thing is for sure they need to start training in close combat as well in finding a way to unseal Madarao & Hakubi without both of them going out of control to give them a better chance of survival because if things remain the same they won’t survive for very long. I was thinking damn, how Atora is going to react to Gen dying and the preview just showed her and she seems devastated. Rest in Peace Gen Shishio! |

| This was probably the best fight in the serie so far against the fire horse demon. I really didn't expect Gen to die, even with the episode's title, I thought this was a fake out. |
