| Yes, guys that's one huge sliding still image of a freaking dragon... How this disjointed mess of a series gets this high a rating is beyond me. This anime is like some terrible cook got some really great ingredients and then bungled up the cooking process terribly. |

Also, you would do well to remember the time period this anime is from. "Still scenes" plague the industry to this day, and they seem to be getting worse as time goes on. At least this anime has beautiful hand painted backgrounds and scenery, unlike anything recent. Obviously this is better than anything in the past 5 years, but it's no Berserk. |

Yep its either bad writing or Wagnard is deceiving Ashram because he needs the scepter for himself to summon the goddess of destruction. One of the two, guess I'll find out as I continue on. |

| Ashram is one of the worst villains ever. Literally everything you need to know about him can be gleaned from his appearance. Even Wagnard has something going on in his head in the form of his ambitious and maniacal fascination with Shooting Star — which is more than can be said for Ashram, who has as much personality as a rock with a mean face painted on it. |

| all the olde characters but a hell of a lot of new plot developments, dare say an entire new set of plots and the highlights of it all being some sweet sweet Deed leg action and elf-on-elf action featuring the redhead and the badass ^_^ glad they're on the team! everybody wants to rule the world! er... | This is probably my 4th time watching through Lodoss, and it's one of the few that I've rewatched so many times. This episode comes after one conflict resolved, but another is beginning. Deedlit continues to be my favourite character in the series. While the animation isn't great, the art and character designs are perfect for this series. And I love the opening and ending themes. They have that fantasy feeling. |

| Dude was really inspired when he designed that dark elf lady. Also, Shooting Star is one of the coolest bad-ass looking dragon I've ever seen. Amazing art. |
