| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Baremoto's revenge plan is sick! Don't ever mess with a smart guy As for the Episode: When Mario went to see Ishihara to kill him, he decided not to since Ishihara was already crazy. He found out what happened between An-chan and him and then he left him alone. As for Sasaki, he completely got what he deserves in this episode. They threatened Sasaki's boy-toy into calling him and ambushed him in the inn and then the revenge plan has started. Sasaki dropped out of the election after he was exposed to his wrong doings and the guys are now free from their past. In my opinion, I think this is best episode in the series so far . |

| Uhh... okay, Rainbow. Boring and predictable episode, and everybody saw Mario/Setsuko coming a mile off. This better pick up before I lose my patience entirely and drop it. |
| Yea all manga readers claim the anime has barely entered the second phase, but this episode had all the makings of a finale. If they continue it, gonna be kinda bittersweet, granted more of the characters would be nice, but seeing them in bad and troublesome situations wouldnt be very appealing either at this point seeing as how happy they are finally, but then again a series like Rainbow doesnt have much impact at this point if it loses its edge. I dont know maybe give each character 2 eps worth of personal development and bring them back in the finale or something like that. Its just weird, ive heard the manga readers talk about this but ive never really confirmed how it develops or even ends..... |

| That was a good episode, but i agree that they made this episode feel too much like a finale. The exposure was awesome, and everything was perfect until the cliche appearance of Anchan at the tree -.- . Will keep watching, and avoid speculating how they will do the second half. |
| Great episode but the pace seems a bit messed up in my opinion. I mean its sort of resolved now so anything after this should be anti climatic. Well see though. |

| Nice episode; sweet vengeance. Now that Sasaki and Ishihara are out of the game, I wonder how the plot is going to develop without becoming too boring. But I'm sure it'll be good. |

| Sasaki's tape being played had to be the moment of the most inappropriate scoring I can think of. I was taken totally out of the moment and sort of laughing at who ever thought that was a good idea. Other than that, a mediocre episode that did nothing too surprising, clever, or exciting. Like everyone else, I don't see how the show continues with a future unless there's more lame melodramatic angst out of nowhere. Also, I really hate the way everyone smokes on this show. I feel like it's done to make them look cool, as opposed to making feel natural for the time/attitude towards smoking. |

| Is it just me, or Mario is trying to become a copy of Sakuragi ? Same hairstyle, same face, same way of talking, the whole boxing stuff and now he has his eyes set on Setsuko ! |

| I like the episode, but I feel like it's not really the end of Sasaki. Doesn't seem like he got put away for his confession. And the Mario and Setsuko set up for next episode...ugh. |
| As soon as Sasaki was buried in the sand with the waves punching his face I predicted we would have a confession-recording, but it was done very well, they waited until the election, perfect ^^ Well this reallly could be a final episode, but I won't mind seeing more, I guess it will start focusing more on each character from now on. |

| How is this episode predictable? Them setting the doctor and exposing him? That's a bit vague, don't you think? It's how they approach this task that showed the beauty of this show. Mario and Setsuko is indeed obvious, so no need to be captain obvious by pointing out the obvious, right? Anyway, great episode. Me, like many others have high hopes for the upcoming arc, and hopefully it won't disappoint. |

| I personally think that since it's based on existing material that was apparently good enough to last for 20+ volumes, that at least guarantees it won't feel like they pulled the plot after this out of their asses. As for the episode itself, awesome execution in terms of revenge plots, even if slightly predictable. @noteDhero: That's actually a technique called Soundtrack Dissonance, and it's often a hit or miss. A lot of people have used it before now, and a lot worse. This case actually wasn't too bad, IMO. |

| I'm disappointed neither Ishihara nor Sasaki died. Wasn't this series supposed to 'convey the strong emotions of the time period?' or something like that?. Instead, this episode turned those kids into something like the allies of justice or something. But yea, everything did seem like a conclusion. Wonder where this series will go on to. New ED pics. Joe's sister Meg grown up ^V^. Soldier in some fight? Cabbage being Cabbage: chopsticks in his hand. Singing Joe. Setsuko and Mario lovey dovey <- I understand Mario, I fell for the long haired Setsuko as well ^V^ |

| It's like these kids have no moral dilemmas whatsoever. I would have really given this show some respect if Joe and Mario had killed Sasaki and Ishihara in cold blood, but instead they had to resort to this "comedic" and "cute" way of revealing him to the public. So ridiculous. |

| Pretty freakin' cliche. I really would have liked for them to have made him suffer silently you know, kinda to represent the fact that they grew mentally and emotionally in jail. But no, they decided to take the predictable route. This anime has its slight moments of brilliance, but there are some extremely poorly plotted episodes like these. Not bad enough to drop, not good enough to get excited about. |
