| Alright, I know summer is already a few weeks in. But I'm curious what people are doing in their free time besides watching anime and reading manga. Or maybe vacationing. For me, besides and anime and manga hehe, I like to bike, work out, play guitar, watch the World Cup, chill with friends, and go to the pool. |

| For years I went to a beach house and did nothing. Yeah. Around 2 years ago I stopped going, so I spend most of my Summer closed at home, all by myself, going to movies, watching anime, working on my little things, reading, once in a while going out with friends that are left in town and did not go to the beach, studying for second chance exams in September.... Sometimes I spend some days in a different country. This year I'm planning going to a con, then going to a different city and spend there 3 or 4 days - 2 of which are another anime con. And I need to see when the other Summer con will be, if it was in the same week I could spend all the week on that city and it would be fun. Even though it's only 3 hours away I've never seen it with attention. |

| Work lots of over time at my part time job and save up some money for uni this year but usually just chill, hang with mates and uptake the amount of anime I watch |

| I'll be working a lot this summer. I also have to get ready for college, I start in August. I usually lounge around and hang out with friends. I've had some great summers with some great people. The summer after 8th grade still stands out as one of the best. I hung out with my 2 best friends and my girlfriend every single day. We walked around town every day doing stupid stuff and just being kids. I still talk to that girl on occasion. Last I heard she dropped out of school and spends most of her time writing pretentious poetry. I can't say I didn't see it coming, haha. One of the other kids in our group dropped out of school and developed a severe drug problem. Last time I talked to him he said he was going to start working in construction. I hear from him about once every 6 months or so. The other guy has been my best friend since I was 3 and he was 2. I still talk to him all the time but don't get to see him too often. I wish I could spend another summer with them. Things were pretty damn good back then. :) Ah, how things change. :P |

| Read, try to write a novel (I've got already 4 notebooks of never finished novels: 1 romance, 2 criminals and 1 fantasy...), take care of my younger sister and cousin so they won't kill each other, watch a bit of anime, chill with friends, eat tons of ice cream and occasionally go somewhere, like mountains, lake or seaside. I'll work as well, but only in july. |

| Read manga/normal books/LNs,watch/download anime,play games/VNs...though I always plan to be more active in summer I never manage to do that...and spend 2 weeks without my computers/anime etc in a summer camp in England...now this made me really want to go out -> too bad I usually go to sleep at 4 AM and wake up around 2-3 PM...I really hate myself for being a hikikomori-type otaku |

| When I was in college I would: -work -hang out with friends -play videogames -watch anime/read manga -swim -go to grad parties Mostly the same stuff I do normally (minus the parties and swimming), but I would have more time to do it. Now I have a full-time job, so summer is not any different. It's just different weather. |

| Besides watching anime, hanging out with my friends, and working, I do some volunteer work at a local elementary school for a month. At the school, there is a program dedicated to children with special needs and I usually work there as an assistant to one of the teachers. I've been working there for the past few years and it's an enriching and rewarding experience. I also go to the beach with my family a couple of times in late July into August. |

| I usually do a lot more out door things. Like swimming, mountain climbing, or just going for a walk. Sometimes it's really neat just walking down your neighborhood enjoying the scenery. :) |

| Cutting down on video games, instead watching more anime, revising a couple of subjects a little, sunbathing, shopping, getting in touch with my old friends, trying new recipes, relaxing, catching up on sleep, staying up late at night, reading, rearranging furniture in my room, that's about it really. |

| In summer I usually go to concerts, festivals, parties, get drunk, sleep, read books, try to get a part-time job, travel with friends, draw, and again...sleep. That besides watching anime and reading manga. The summer is long, I try not to get bored. |
