| ... That was an amazing episode, number one. (The flashbacks were great. I loved having an episode dedicated to Hinata. The emotions and tension were both high-strung in this episode.) Number two, Hinata BETTER not be dead. Seriously. It was a great episode, but if that is how it ends, then it is way, way too cruel and just... unfair. (Rarely use that word because yesss I know life's not fair, but really? Pain deserves to die an infinite number of even slower, more painful deaths.) |

| at first I didn't like Hinata.. she was always crying and blushing in front of Naruto and she kind of irritated me... but in Shippuden she's changed so much :O I'm really starting to like her more and more! :D |

He went into an uncontrollable rage, he did everything he could, but unfortunately pain was just to strong, naruto was pinned down and couldn't do nothing and pain got to her first. You know this episode was greatly expanded upon unlike in the manga. I think this is one of those arcs that was actually done better in the anime then the manga. btw guys you like throwing spoilers out their like their nothing, stop it already. Boy i feel sorry for anyone that isnt a manga reader, just watching this and ends up reading the first few pages of this discussion. |

I really loved seeing Hinata just totally get up the courage to go after pain, no other ninja in a million years would have the guts to do what she did for naruto. Some people complain bout this, "stupid bitch should of just stayed down" but you have to give her credit where its due, she literally put her life on the line for naturo and those naruhina fans should be going nuts over this. I never really did believe in romantic pairings in the series like some fans do. But i admire her devotion, her tenacity, everything she has said bout naruto were totally true and not just words of empty feelings coming out of her mouth. She really sincerely loves him from the heart. It was truly a remarkable moment and heart warming moment for her character. How do you think naruto is going to react to this later on. This was so much better in the anime then in the manga btw. |

| OH. MY. GOD :OOOOO You've got to be kidding me !!! Hinata too ?!?! But she just stopped being annoying and became awesome ! And then she dies like 3 minutes later... This moved me to tears. Man. It took some serious guts to go against someone like Pain. She knows she's going to die, but she couldn't live with herself if she didn't try.I didn't like her much before this, but now I think I finally understand why she gets so much love... She's beautiful inside out. |
| While I didn't plan it this way, I'm so glad I watched this episode after watching Naruto: The Last last night in theaters. The entire sequence with Hinata trying to save Naruto was beautiful and I couldn't hold back the tears. |
