| Really enjoyed this epi. Took a break in the middle and searched the web Hinode city is a false name for the actual location is Onomichi city and Mukoshima Island. If you google map 福本渡船 you can zoom in on the ferry landing. There's a web page that has photos of various locations used in the anime from the city and the island. http://homepage1.nifty.com/h-shinjyo/kamichuwindtanbou1.htm At the bottom of that page, clilk on the link for page 2 and you'll see that the shrine is properly represnted from it's real-life model. |

| Another great episode. If there is any relationship development and a kiss scene this anime will be a 9/10 for sure. But, slice of life anime never delivery on romance, so I'm not expecting anything. |

| I wonder if Yurie'll go help out the Musashi and Shinano too? Most of the records and photos of the 3 Yamato-class ships were destroyed at the end of the war by Japan. The show accurately depicts how Yamato looked when "he" sank: tons of AA and AAA all over the deck. In Mr.Gen's flashback? Those weren't there, nice historical accuracy! Still hard to imagine kids in Japan not knowing about something I knew about as a kid in Canada (in the 70's to be about the same age) but I was a bit of a military history buff...
