| Shinon with her driver license lol. Good for her, she deserves one. Episode featured the beach but not the fan service type. Got to to see their local seafood instead. Also, I'm starting to like Nina more. She's one of the newer members but gets along with everyone and has fun chemistry. |

| The 1-2 punch with this and Mono on Saturdays is generational. Both are amazing, but I might even lean towards liking this cast more! Probably my fave episod Oh you know how to drive? Name every traffic rule 😂 Kurea is too funny. Proud of she and Shinon trying to get their licenses. No way in hell would I be driving with Shinon though lmao. I feel like if you can’t drive on the freeway you probably shouldn’t be getting a license.. but I can vouch there’s a lot of people like that irl, my aunt for example refuses to get on the freeway Somehow the girls survived letting Shinon drive them and accidentally getting on the freeway. Everything worked out for the best because they got to make their first little trip memory together, even if it was just going to the market for seafood! Slowly, but surely, they’re making memories and becoming a proper friend group. Kurea looks so pretty with sunglasses! Those oysters and squid looked soo good too! “I want to stay with everyone a little longer” Mako is too precious. Seeing the girls be so confident in Kurea driving that they fall asleep is sweet. You have to be really comfortable going to sleep while a friend is driving you I love these girls sm! Also, playing with a Rubik’s cube and avoiding talking to new people.. Nana is so autistic coded. I love how all the girls just embrace her and try to accommodate her it’s so precious. |

| You could tell there was tension in the car the moment Shinon started it. I suspected her driving skills just like the others, but she was surprisingly good—though her spatial awareness wasn’t, and her questions about insurance didn’t help anyone’s nerves, but they were funny. Would have loved some swimsuits, but then again, the episode wasn’t beach-focused, so I guess cute reactions and tasty-looking food will do for now. The ending was sweet in a way, as they all fell asleep after having fun together, resting in the peace of mind that they’d be safe with Kurea driving. |

| I think Shinon misunderstood the cat safety check xD Ngl, I wouldn't feel too safe with her behind the wheel either. But Barbecue at the beach is still like the best summer activity. Very nice episode. |

| Really good episode. As soon as I heard Shinon getting her driving license I was like, "Yeah, she's crashing the car for sure." Looks like I underestimated her. When she went through the freeway though, I FOR SURE thought she was going to crash, she didn't. Maybe I should trust her more. Seafood barbecue sounds really nice actually, might do that one day at the beach as well. OP updated with Nana added to it, cool. 5/5 |

| A very nice episode where the girls go on a fun and sweet driving trip. Loved Shinon and Nana antics, these two are my favorite characters in the show so far. Of course they get to eat well once again, this time it is a barbecue of delicious-looking grilled seafood and rice. |
| Grats to Kurea and Shinon for getting their licences. Shinon's assessment on her chances sure was full of holes. Poor Nana and her stranger phobia. Still nice to see Shinon cheer her up. The freeway was defo a rather rude awakening for her. Their first car trip turned out to be a great success despite the hiccup that was the freeway. |

You just pick a line, hit maximum speed and the rest is just taking care exiting where you need to. No pedestrians, or stoplights or bumpers. It is the easiest way to drive cars. |

| @BrotherCoa That's the thing: on highways you ride at high or maximum speed alongside many other speeding vechicles and when you want get off it you've got to drive through specific exits, and that might scare new drivers. |

I was half-expecting it, but I was simultaneously also half-thinking that a car crash incident of any kind, especially when traveling at a high rate of speed on the highway, even if it somehow only resulted in a minor fender bender, was still probably a little too spicy and dramatic for what's supposed to be a very relaxing CGDCT Slice of Life. Of course there are CGDCT SoLs with even a lot worse than that happening, but I never got the sense that this was one of those types. |

What a beautiful episode, like all have been, but I just cannot stop thinking of how incredibly perfect this anime is. The final scene made me feel something I haven't feel in so long while watching a show... Kurea is in the same place her mother was during her childhood, ngl that scene really touched my heart ❤️ The scene of Nana being so sad and disappointed for not being part of their memories from before her joining the club felt so damn real and relatable lmao, I never though they were going to directly bring that up when they were talking about that, what a surprise it was! I like how Kurea's family having a restaurant has been such an important plot point, that's good world building. I also like how they aren't inside their club room all the time, we get to see a lot of them outside the university, we really see into their lives, that's wonderful. Their licenses said their birthday year is "Heisei 18", that is 2006, so all of the girls are between 18 and 19 years old... they really are university students, good job Shinon, you really did it, you both entered the university and got a driver's license, I'm so proud 🥲 For real tho, Shinon makes me laugh every time, I adore her because, for me at least, she being a dummy feels natural lol I love all these girls so much, when this show ends I'll cry so bad...... |

| Nana getting car sick is so real, she’s still the best character she’s very relatable and funny with how shy she is. I loved the car scene and tbh I feel like it’s pretty accurate for young people who just start out driving not feeling very confident on the road. Another great episode |

| That's an interesting right of passage, being trusted with the family car for the first time. I see the budget was a little lacking to animate solving the Rubik's cube properly... -shrug-. The relaxing soundtrack when they start cooking reminds me of Yuru Camp. Interesting reversal at the end, when Kurea's the one driving, and everyone else is asleep. | Shinon and Kurea successfully getting their driving licenses was great. It made me feel nostalgic on when I got my own license while at college. Not only did it make it easier for me to travel to and from college without relying on public transport, but having the ability to go anywhere you want, whenever you want to for the first time always feels exciting. That being said, people can feel a little daunted about driving in unfamiliar territory and Shinon did learn that the hard way after taking the car on a freeway before getting spooked by a truck overtaking. Despite her panicking, she did handle this situation well. After that, it was fun to see the girls continue their tour at Tsukiji, where they checked out the food stalls before heading to a beach for some barbecue. I'm not the biggest fan of seafood, but what they cooked up looked really delicious. Thanks to this series, I always have a small snack beside me just in case the girls end up cooking something yummy looking! XD |
| Even this time the episode does not disappoint, showing a context that I do not think has been seen often in other anime, it's just a shame that unlike other anime, in this same season, here the views and backgrounds are not so spectacular, but still beautiful, nevertheless the narration was interesting and fun, and I really enjoyed learning new things about Japan. |

| I really liked the drive back home, with the soft glow of the city lights and everyone dozing off. It captures that tired but content feeling from a nice road trip. The music was great in that scene, too. |

| Didn't think I'd watch a CGDCT anime where 2 of the main girls are actually driving. Also the night scenes were so serene. This anime is awesome, I'm really loving it. |
| Haha, Shinon and her rules! So whose fault is it when cars crash, huh? And do you really expect a girl to study properly when she once answered “Apple” to the question of who discovered gravity? By the way, our local driving schools are super lenient... I remember going there without studying at all, but I already knew how to drive — I answered all the questions by instinct and passed on the first try... Shinon’s scene at the driving school was hilarious — hahahahahaha that’s exactly me before I took my ENT exam. I needed to score 40 out of 80 and I hadn’t studied a thing because of another test! Literally everything Shinon said, I said too — word for word, hahahahaha. But I wasn’t dumb enough to expect I’d get 85 like her! I kept saying that knowing my luck I’d end up with 75 out of 80! (Okay, that didn’t actually happen — I have no idea how I even passed.) Look at the frame below — hahahahahaha Shinon, you literally killed me! She reflects my real-life experiences with my friends — it’s 100% real and accurate. The driving scenes were also realistic. I remember my first time driving on the highway — my dad was beside me, yelling his head off in panic! On the way back, I almost caused an accident. My mom was screaming, my dad was silent with fear, and I was calmly laughing, hahahahaha. Those were the days! This anime brought back memories I thought I’d buried. Also, why did they have a barbecue again? They must have known the audience has an appetite too! I love barbecue — but since it was seafood, skip — I don’t like it. I wrote a lot again, didn’t I? Don’t blame me — I’m just really happy. Let’s go to Episode 6!  |

| Kurea being worried for Shinon passing her driving license exam, and although the former does it strait-laced to pass it, the latter is quite the surprise earning her own as well, which means that either one can help out using the restaurant car for their part-time work. This is especially important for Kurea since it's a daily affair with her mother, and now that the daughter has earned hers, driving the girls around is a breeze. A short turnaround with Nana getting carsick for a rest to allow Shinon to take over, and despite Nana not being in the club, there's more than enough time to spend their university lives together...except that Shinon went too far going to the highway and almost worried everyone of insurance lol. The girls finding themselves in Ishikawa, there's no way to turn back now, so going to Tsukiji it is and try out some speciality food. One of them being of oysters, and seafood cooking at at the beach is often the way to enjoy the mood, and ending it at the ferris wheel, it's like yet another journey for the girls that is so good, the moment isn't worth ending. The Food Club's first memory together, and despite the driving mishap, substitutes it for some traveling goodness. |
