| Whoa, an episode not just about the main couple of this show but about Hayakawa! How unexpected. However, I loved the overall chemistry in this episode, seeing the co-workers hang out together outside of the office. Hayakawa herself seems like a friendly person so she and Somei can definitely get along well. A good character study episode for Hayakawa imo, especially seeing thoughts from her perspective. |

| Xmas is here and the couple is working. In some companies they kick you out on those days. It was nice seeing that more couples might be formed in the next couple of episodes and we also heard the male lead has a sister. I wonder if she will ever appear on screen. Lets hope for some more development between the main couple tho. |

| A Christmas-themed episode. But since the show is about adult characters, it had things that I normally don't see in typical anime. So that was enjoyable. But more importantly, this episode felt especially focused on Hayakawa and Somei. And Hayakawa finally admitted she has feelings for Somei! That is so cute. But I wonder how Somei feels. His feelings aren't shown explicitly. And the story was mostly from the perspective of Hayakawa. I actually like how this show seems to be mainly from the perspective of the female cast. I do hope the two get together somehow. They'd be awesome together. It's kinda cool that the show's title "I Have a Crush At Work" might apply to Hayakawa about Somei more than Masugu and Yui. I'm curious about Hayakwa's past tho. Did she use to date someone else at work at the start of her career? And it ended badly? That'd be horrible. This alongside Yui's past is probably the two biggest mysteries of this show so far. Can't wait for the next episode for the wholesome progress. |
| Poor Morizono's the first to get busted for her secret. I somehow get the feeling Somei's the one more in love between him and Hayakawa but is just way better at keeping a poker face about it. |

| Finally we got the side ship! I love Yui and Masugu but I feel like Hayakawa and Somei is gonna be special too. They’re such a cute match. This is obviously a little different your usual romcoms where the side ships end up being better than the main one, but I think they’re gonna be awesome! Yui and Masugu are an exception, but a lot of work relationships end up horribly so I understand Hayakawa’s trepidation about getting into one, but don’t overthink it! They’re so cute and have such great chemistry. Different sort of ship to our main one but just as cute. Yui’s candy project passing the hurdles and getting off the ground is like the best possible Christmas present for her, plus she’s got Masugu with her. This is definitely a different sort of Christmas from the ones she’s had before. So happy for them! Hayakawa got his number omg you go girl, proud of her! Somei is so cool and nonchalant but he says the sweetest things without batting an eye. Nice contrast to Masugu who’s a bit more emotional lol. This show is such a great way to start the week |

| It's weird that the main characters didn't have a passionate night in this episode (I never thought I'd say something like that). Still, they had some lovely moments during Christmas, and seeing Masugu's happiness over Yui's accomplishments was cute. The ones who stole my attention were Hayakawa and Somei. I love when they also develop the secondary characters' relationships. Hayakawa has already admitted his feelings for Somei, although with Somei's personality, it's hard to guess his feelings. But it's clear that he cares about not losing the moments he spends with Hayakawa. I really like this possible relationship. |

Something I've always been curious about is why Christmas is so widely celebrated in Japan. I googled it & only ~ 1.5% of the country is Christian. Is it just celebrated without the religious element & used as an opportunity to give each other gifts?

| This was another great episode which brought some more attention to the side characters. Im guessing their adding this relationship between Hayakawa and Somei in case some people were getting bored of Masugu and Yui. Personally I think Masugu and Yui are very strong characters and I'll admit it was a little boring at the beginning but im liking them more and more each episode. But I do hope we see this relationship between Hayakawa and Somei progress. She really shouldn't worry about a 8 year age gap when their both mature adults and if she's worried about working together she can just hide the relationship like the main couple does provided they even get together in the first place Im assuming they will though. there's only a few episodes left but I'll be surprised if Masugu and Yui's relationship doesn't get outed somehow by the end of it I hope they don't though get found out. |

| It's quite clever that as we don't get to see how Masugu and Yui got together in real time, that we're getting a side couple in Hayakawa and Somei going through it instead. Of course, if that does come to fruition, we just have a workplace where everybody's hooking up, but hey, I don't mind. |
| Is that the sounds of my Hayakawa/Somei ship sailing I hear? I thought I was just going to get more crumbs this week, but instead I got a full-course meal of development for them, I'm so happy~ ♡ I know people have... opinions... on age gap relationships around here, but personally, I love them, and it only makes me want to root for Haykawa and Somei more! Look at Hayakawa getting that contact info finally, and Somei going on the offensive in his own way~ I really do love that for them. ☆ Somei's smile really is so sweet... I honestly find both of them as characters really interesting, because they're both very reserved with their feelings, in different ways and for different reasons. Fingers crossed that things continue to go well for them, and that Hayakawa gets to work through the trauma of whatever past event made her so scared to pursue same-office relationships. We also got some really nice moments with our main couple as well! (Look at these cute goobers~)  Congratulations to Yui for getting another product accepted! Hopefully as time goes on, she'll be able to enjoy Christmas with Masugu by her side. I also really loved them singing their OP together at karaoke; one of my most favorite anime tropes! (When are we getting the full version?) And the rest of the party + karaoke was so fun as well, with it being the event that pushed our side couple just a little bit closer, Chiharu fangirling over Maria; it was all so great~! |

| Nice to see secondary pairing to get some progress. Always in for age gap romance. But tbh Yui and Masugu is enough to carry the show.  Hopefully this time Yui's product would be more successful. |

| This is the best romance show of the season for me. Loving Yui and Masugu's interactions more and more with each passing week, and really enjoying the new budding relationship between Hayakawa and Somei too. |

| No matter what situation Yui and Tateishi are in, they always have this awesome couple vibe, even though they keep it under wraps. And it's pretty clear that Hayakawa and Somei were the secondary couple from the start, and in this episode, their connection gets a nice boost, even though they're taking it slow – which is great. |
| As someone who prefers older women, Hayakawa's worries are only incentives for me lol. Good episode after a while. Hope next episode focuses entirely on Hayakawa and Somei since I feel rather interested in their story. |

| Yui not seemingly caring much for Christmas was because of the special edition items that other teams successfully brought to market whereas she hasn't had one yet but I think she'll get there as shown by her project passing the spring product competition. Regarding Hayakawa, it looks like she had a bad experience with a work-related romance plus as she said at least twice, she's a boss and Somei is a subordinate so I have mixed feelings of them getting together... |
| No wall of text for this episode. Simple and sweet. Respect to Hayakawa for trying to keep things professional, but just submit already; Somei's subtle rizz is just too strong. And submit she kind of does, as they exchange contact info at the end. Our main duo is super cute and all, but I hope they will give ample-enough screen time to our age-gap(-ish) lovers in the remaining episodes. |

By that argument, the age difference is twice as bad, since the woman is the older one in this case. That being said, Hayakawa should just go for it. Somei seemed into it, since he was ready to ditch with her to hang out privately.

| From their 6-month anniversary straight to Christmas, it proves too much for the annual office year-end stuff, but everything is still holding up well for Yui and Masugu. Even for Hayakawa and Somei, the former is clearly feeling the sync with the latter despite their age gap. And as a single woman for the good while, her thoughts of Somei, while getting a lot more egregious, choosing to distance herself from her usual cafe and seeing Somei, it ain't gonna last for long, not at least for the company's year-end party. Uto almost blurting her fav for Morizono's social media account, that certainly was a near-shock moment for both Yui and Masugu. Too bad with his drunk state, Masugu had a karaoke date with not just Yui, but the people in their respective departments. This includes both Hayakawa and Somei as well, though him sensing something wrong with Hayakawa to want to bail out together, wowzers that is a close call. I'm even more surprised of Morizono's capability to sing, and for at least the time, everyone had fun, as Christmas starts to roll around and year-end work, even on Christmas Eve, gets even crazier. And that sums the rather stereotypical response she got every year, that is until she met Masugu, with her own sweets project being accepted as well. Back to Hayakawa and Somei, his only interaction with her may be breakfast, but it's his favourite time of all things... ...and just admit it sis, you've fallen for the guy 8 years your junior, which you did! |
