A lot of what was explained here, could've been shown instead of dryly told, or incorporated more naturally, because it was all so long winded too. And at most points, it really was unnecessary. For example, when that hidden blood thingy shot Yuji's liver. We could see what happened, an explanation by an outside narrator was not necessary. Show, don't tell. In this episode (and the majority of the previous episodes), I don't think there was a moment where the narration was actually necessary.
Yeah, but so is outside narration. Maybe even more so, especially in other media. Personally, I'd much rather have the character explain it while in the moment (in their head or otherwise) because at least it's part of the fight that way and more natural. Not some random, unrelated voice saying something with no emotion that interjects the fight with a blood biology lesson, justifying how their powers work. For example, Choso's technique not working well in all that water, could've been more naturally explained away by Mechamaru for example or by Choso thinking to himself.

| @JakkoFourEyes Unlike last season, the fights are a bit more layered. Like the hidden blood example you brought up could've maybe been a "show don't tell" approach but it doesn't necessarily interrupt the flow either because the fight literally stops for moment due to the shock factor of Yuji getting hit. And the additional narration goes over information you wouldn't know organically like how Yuji's liver specifically was pierced. I guess it's just a preference thing because some stuff can be monologued by the characters but having an all knowing narrator gives a bit more gravity to their words. |

| Fight scene was insane. Some of the best stuff I've seen. The blood ability reminded me of Beyond the Boundary but the hand to hand and directing and animation really let it rise above the average anime fight. |
| I was hoping for sukuna to show up and cleave that blood bending dude into slices but what i did not expect is a sudden switch to 90s era picnic with the bros where yuji feeds that guy noodles. Either way I am hyped as heck |

| The colors are so cool! I love the sparking electricity. Absolutely beautiful fight. It was incredible and superfluid. It seems like they are related to each other? Possibly half brothers, right? Itador got waaaay too confident and ultimately ended up making him loose. I wonder what the girls are going to do. Probably save Itadori because they got upset at the bad side. |

| This action scene with Yuuji was animated so well, really wasn't expecting them to put this much into it! As it progresses it gets more and more intense, with the conclusion revealing something to us about Chousou that doesn't quite make sense. |
