RAID KAISEN is finally here.

Choso taking on Itadori was one of the best moments and fights in this arc and it was just as great if not better. An amazing episode throughout. Incredible direction and storyboarding in this episode. A very strong episode. Choso was manhandling Itadori in the beginning, but Itadori did his best against him. Goes to show how strong Choso is. That hand-to-hand combat was pure chef's kiss. Some of the best from this show. Incredible OST usage as well. Amazing action. Best episode of the season so far.

Coldrain's REMEMBER remix was fire as well. What an episode. Choso's memories were sad. Geto's girls are here.

Inumaki might have helped Itadori get through the circus of people doing their rounds on roads, but it only resulted in him meeting Choso eventually. Choso, who wants to see Itadori dead like no other, didn’t even waste a microsecond before launching his piercing blood towards Itadori.

I mean atleast give some time to blink eyes, if not breathe lol. Though have to say, blood manipulation technique might sound like a perfect way to get Anaemia, but in reality it ain’t, as after all Choso was shooting the blood beams at some speed… around the speed of sound, with Itadori knowing no answers whatsoever, except landing a few hits here and there. If wasn’t for Mechamaru, Choso might have overwhelmed Itadori right there right then.

Nice plans and all, with the idea of Itadori facing Choso in the midst of a tap rain shower, and it worked too… to some extent, until Choso shot the ultra condensed blood beam through Itadori’s liver… but man, this guy just never fucking say no, he fucking gave his all… to the point where we literally witnessed A MOVIE in the midst of episode.

Do not remember at all, this fight being something of a show in itself back in the manga, but Mappa knocked everything out of the park here. Might be the best animated episode this season yet.

That split second scene of Sukuna, and then Choso going through the memories. It'll all make sense in some time.

The moment where Yuji and Chose meets this episode was SO MUCH better than it was in the previous episode. Jesus christ. Kinda mad because the first time sucked out the suprise magic.

3:38 百歛 (byakuren) literally means "hundred tighten". As far as I'm aware this isn't a real Japanese word and Gege Akutami made it up himself. This is the case with a lot of technique names in JJK.

lol, this is really cool! They are displaying the technique names on the walls! There are also Chinese and Korean translations!

HOLY SHIT I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT SUKUNA HOOOLY
What happened to Choso? I expected him to instantly die but seems like it's something more interesting!
This was sooo good. Was this just a series of chapters of constant action in the manga?
But ngl I also feel really bad for Mappa. This season is just pure action and they have so much work to do.
Wait, there is a scene after credits!
Next episode preview: Lmao I agree with this so much

What an episode. Hand to hand combat is always a delight and to top it off a very intriguing scene in the end. Yuji and the three brothers eating dinner along with cursed womb capsules on the table? Wow!

That was awesome. One of the best action sequences and episodes for sure. The storyboarding must've been insane.

Also, Inumaki showed up. Sukuna made a brief appearance. Mechamaru, is he gone for good? What happened to Choso and his memories? And at the end we see the two girls Geto saved. I wonder what they're planning to do with Itadori.

What an amazing episode!

Yea, they fucking cooked here. Holy shit they took an already great fight and elevated it to even better levels. So far this was probably the best animated episode of the season, the staff definitely knew they couldn't fuck this one up. I'm a sucker for hand to hand combat and that choreography was just chefs kiss. Loved the POV shots that they included, especially when Yuji ran around the corner then wrapped back around with the kick through the door. Fire background music as well, it took me a moment to realize they did an instrumental remix of the insert song from Season 1 (Remember by coldrain).

No complaints here, what an exhilarating episode for an amazing fight. Choso's blood techniques looked great, and Yuji got to show off how good of a fighter he is. We finally got some Sukuna screentime this season along with an ominous cliffhanger with those non-existent memories, plus the two girls arriving at Yuji's unconscious body.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

This episode did not disappoint. Shibuya has finally picked up and it’s fire af.

Honestly might be my favourite fight that’s been animated so far.

I find it hilarious that this all took place in the toilets 😂😂😂

The moment I saw Sukuna my immediate thought was, "About time! But no" lol. I'm scared that if Sukuna comes out he might kill someone, but he made a pact with Itadori in season 1 that he'll only be out for one minute and he won't kill anyone in that time, so I'm excited to see what he'll do.

god tier animation, and by far the best fight of the season so far. and considering choso practically had 0 hype around him before going into this fight and it turned out to be THIS good, i can only imagine how the second half of the season is going to pan out (considering the overall amounts of hype for this arc).

so so excited

From halloween party to a total horror fest huh. Blood manipulation sure suits the theme well. The fight with the blood mage though was pretty impressive. Who knew blood can be so powerful of a weapon. But so was how effective water was in dealing with it. The narration for this ep sure ended up adding quite a bit to the scenes. The false memories though was a rather unique way of ending the battle with though.

Probably the most expensive JJK episode (excluding the movie). Hand-to-hand combat is very hard to animated, and that is why almost every anime avoid a scenario like this.
This arc is very hard to adapt, and the director uses every cinematic language he knows to tackle this challenge, at the risk of leaning too much toward symbolism (you can see many signs in this episode that's reflect or metaphor the current situation). But sometimes the best answer is just go along the flow.

Yuji vs Choso, is how everyone imagine how cool their brawls are.

If is to give a phrase for Yuji would be," Maybe the real Jujutsu was the brothers he made along the way."

This was adapted better than I expected it to be. I'm honestly still not in favor of all the close-up shots whenever there's some fluid cut which reduces the impact. But aside of that, the hand-to-hand combat was animated incredibly well, along with the "raid kaisen" panel being adapted almost perfectly. Those last few minutes were just insane. This is probably one of the coolest moments in the manga for me, I got the same feeling in the anime. Great stuff.
