| Love those kitsunes!! Sooooo cute!!! <3 Plus, the birds were great. Personally, though, I really liked the arrow. It makes you think that even when you're feeling petty and think something is useless, it could be a complete treasure. Always keep an open mind. I like that message. |
| this show is really mostly about food sometimes, isn't it? that letter game seems kind of hard, but i know one that would stump anyone- fox! how many animals start with x, that would have been an impossible, but why does she have him run such dangerous errands like that? |

| the part with the shadows closing in on watanuki really creeped me out. the translator notes about the word game "shiritori" were very helpful in understanding the rules and how it works. |

I've always loved this kind of things in HOLiC.... In fact that's actually is appealing to me... Watanuki was amazingly funny this chapter... Yeh... I know... the anime is the episodic type, but that's actually makes it good... Indeed... This show has a lot of food reference that could make anyone hungry... I dun blame you hahahaha... Oh and CLAMP's other works references are also sweet... OH the CCS days... Backpack.... Who gave Sakura that backpack? Was it Syaoran? Oh I dun remember... XD.... I loved the Fox Kid! So cute! | I love how this anime is so relaxing, and peaceful in it's own sense. When I watch this I feel like I can just sit back and enjoy to the fullest. It's awesome. Looking forward to the next! |

I liked the two kitsune (foxes)~. It was a bit amusing that the little one lost on his first word, haha. And I still really like Mokona. :D I'm probably sticking with this series now~. |
| This series is developing a form of simplistic beauty, mainly because of it's engaging story-telling, and this makes a change from all the effects-laden, loud, flashy anime out there. The contrast means that this series is kind of a hidden gem, which continues to grow in the telling. I didn't think I'd like it too much at the beginning, but now I can't wait for the next episode. The story was sweet and neat, with some nice flourishes to keep you intrigued. 4/5 |

| I love this episode. It was so sweet <3 At first I thought "Uh-oh, a demon's going to try to spirit him away" But they were actually really nice foxes who received awesome little birds... I wish those birds and Mokona were real~! I want them both! *-* |

| talking fox isn't any more special then talking human HaHaHaHa that's good one XD not awry EP will be about food, but still there is a lot of food in this series cause she eats a lot XD they will got in to spirit issue to eventually specially S2, S2 has more spirit issues |

| Also this time the episode was pleasant to follow thanks to the comedy put in place during the narration and for the atmosphere full of mystery and folklore. The backpack that Watanuki brought, was very similar to the one used by Sakura in CCS. |

| Fantastic Ep! LOVE the foxes! Want more foxes! :) Love seeing Yuuko's power and interaction with the spirit world and sending him on these quests. This is really panning out! Love it! |

| I seriously love this! So it seems that Doumeki has the ability to drive away evil spirit? That's why Yoko likes him and Watanuki to be together as much as possible? The little fox is too cute huhu |

| Shiritori can ward off evil spirits, and the presence of two birds that can only come from another world every time the full moon appears. Ancient Japanese legends like this always intrigue me. |
