Well I read most of my manga as physical copies since I buy 'em and have a great access to a large selection working as a librarian.

But when I do read digitally it's either on my pc or tablet at home. Also I use my work laptop sometimes but that's not so common.

I think that a tablet or pc is the best since a tablet is like a big page or with a pc you can make a more elaborate setup for the comfy reading moments.

I usually read manga on my phone since I have manga app on it. I used to read it on computer.

P.S. one time my sis read manga on TV, like open browser on TV and find manga on it. This was a crime.

As an avid reader and collector: Physical

But I do use devices as well. For manga iPad and other tablets, whatever's in reach, for books kindle or other e-readers. As the poster above me said, phone is for torture reasons -g-, so I never use one. Desktop for mere chapter updates, otherwise too big of a screen to read comfortably.

^
Physical is my favorite, by far. Though tablets come in handy at times. Especially on longer trips when you don't want to carry "extra baggage" around.

MAL is a far cry from being my main literature site, that's why I won't be doing mere single chapter updates anymore. Manga- aka Baka-Updates + 2 French ones are miles better and more thorough/complete + less restricting. The latter are perfectly suited for Manga/Light Novel/Books collectors such as myself. Less stressful/tiring this way. -g-

I prefer reading physically but Poland doesn't have every manga available and English mangas are sometime to expensive. Then I switch to PC.

I'm a stickler for good ol' physicals. The rush of collecting them along with the feeling of holding manga you love between your own two hands is magical.

Alas, manga is not readily available where I live currently, so for the past decade, I've been using my trusty iPhone for reading serialized manga, and my PC for doujinshi :)

Tablet is amazing to read Manga on, phone is okay also.
Definitely prefer to read physical Manga, but it's harder to commit to and stores don't also have what I would want to read.

Either my phone or my laptop for online, I prefer physical copies but reading online is more convenient and I can't always run to my bookstore to buy more manga.

trust me you need a monitor that can rotate vertically, or just a budget 10 inch tablet. It makes the reading-experience more effective, physical manga is pretty much nonexistent here anyway

The screens on most phones are too small, and desktop screens are too big. A small tablet is pretty much the best choice. I mainly read on an iPad mini and only buy physicals of my favorite manga.

I mainly read on both my Laptop and Phone, and if I had to pick which one I preferred between them, I would pick my phone because it makes reading them more convenient when I'm not at home.

i have a lenovo yoga and it can turn into a tablet but its like kinda big its a laptop right... i like reading stuff on it if im like really into the art and the images are high quality, cuz manga books are just too small, i prefer viewing good art on a bigger screen
i also have a tablet, and id read stuff on it that is lower quality or the art isnt that detailed or i just dont feel like holding an entire laptop in my hands
if i really wanna lay in bed, sometimes u just wanna be comfy in ur bed right maybe im exhausted but wanna read some chill stuff, then ill read it on my phone in my bed under the covers all cozy

im reading murcielago rn but i mainly read it on a big screen on the laptop thats turned into tablet, cuz it feels like the smaller tablet wouldnt do it justice
surviving romance i read recentely was more of a tablet thing
as for my phone ughhh double play was like phone exclusive for me lol but i also read some of voynich hotel on my phone too

I use my Ipad mini. It's a little bit larger than a page of manga and doesn't weigh much. It's really handy. Otherwise I read physicals - supporting my local manga stores and the mangaka are both important for me ;)

Most of the ones I can find in the bookstores that sell manga then I do physically... yet since the question is about devices, then it's mostly on my phone, since laptop PC even though the quality might be a bit better, I think I may need more spine and neck surgeries than just one...

Physical for certain series I can 'get a copy of at least 1 volume (if likely), a few (and they never offer more in the book store) or most of the series even if a bit behind the fan translations).

Mostly online though. Phone or PC.

I read it on my iPad mostly. I'll occasionally read on my phone if I'm waiting for an appointment or on a long car ride, but tablet at home for the most part.

I'll buy physical copies of the manga if I end up really liking it.

Usually my phone. I can't see particularly well, so being able to hold my phone closer to my face and zoom into specific spots is nice. I don't own a tablet, and while I do own a computer, I am a lot more comfortable reading manga on my phone.

I prefer paperback. I spend too much time looking at screens for pretty much everything else I do, so it's really good to be able to just pull out something physical, and just chill for a few hours at the library or something. The only exception being if it never released physically, or I can't find it, in which case I would just read it on my computer.

Its much more easier and convenient to read on my phone than on pc, my monitor is high up to level with my eye so sometimes for manga chapters I have to look a bit up which is tiring. Plus, I can roll around in bed or read anywhere with my phone. Would’ve loved to read a book but being in a 3rd world country, physical copies are not necessarily wallet-friendly xD

I have always preferred to read physical books but I travel a lot and am also always on the go so having physical copies of manga is not as convenient because I can finish them in 1 hour and then will want to continue but have to wait to either buy a new book or wait until I get home. (Plus I am broke I can’t afford much unfortunately, I spend all my money in food)

I read on my iPad and if I’m in the metro, on my phone.
