| Honestly, most popular anime would fall into that category. But I'll pick Spy x Family for that, because it's just the most boiler plate, inoffensive piece of media possible that came to prominence in the last few years. Even the author admits he doesn't even like the characters and just made it because that's what people want nowadays. It's the epitome of meh: something that's not bad, but is not even good enough to be considered "good", or remarkable. It's just there, average of the average. |

| Damn, someone already mentioned Kimetsu no Yaiba. Then I'll say stuff like Kaguya-sama, it never gets bad to actually call it bad (except the third season) but it is so barebones in everything, I wouldn't rate most of it's seasons a 5 tho, because it fails at what it is, a comedy anime, because it isn't funny, it would be a better meh if it was a more like a generic romcom that doesn't try so hard on its "comedy". Eizouken is very meh, even more so than Kaguya-sama mentioned above. Garo:Guren no Tsuki despite being one of the best things I have seen from MAPPA that still only makes it meh. Most of my 5s fall into this since that's mostly how I describe them. |

I read the manga considering people hyping it so much, my impression is it's an okay manga but i don't see how a lot of people can easily rate it as one of the best romance manga out there. Then the anime came and it fell into the same loophole again, it was fine anime but man i would lie if i say it didn't bore me a lot. My other picks are probably Mirai Nikki and Golden Time, simply because it's just meh and failed to impress me once. |

| I can think of some high regarded stuff like Gintama, Demon Slayer, Code Geass, Fate UBW/Heaven's Feel, One Punch Man, Boku no Hero and so on. Not particularly bad, not particularly good, barely decent, mostly mediocre. Anyway, meh. |

| Any of the generic teasing gimmick rom-coms like Nagatoro, Takagi etc. You know whats going to happen from the beginning and it gets repetitive pretty fast. |

| Hmm... my first thought was "Kaguya-sama". It's not a bad show, both from technical point of view and if you ask for my own subjective opinion about it. It's just meh. I didn't find it that much entertaining, but not badly done either. It started feeling dull at some point, making me lose interest in the series. |

| Shinobi no Ittoki - uninspiring, flat Kanojo, Okarishimasu - it's set up to be spicy, but it wastes it's opportunity. Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san - shit with sprinkles, is STILL SHIT. Ryman's Club - "which do I want to be, a sports anime or a working anime. I know I'll fail at being both, AT THE SAME TIME". |

| Basically about 80% of all anime. Why do they always start great and interesting, and even funny and then turn into meh? Usually when they start getting serious, not many stay in the sweet moments. Quite annoying and I'm too lazy to drop a show if I've watched 4-5 episodes. |
