'Biohazard: Death Island' CG Anime Movie Announced for Summer 2023

Sony Pictures Entertainment announced a new CG anime movie based on Capcom's Biohazard (Resident Evil) video game series titled Biohazard: Death Island (Resident Evil: Death Island) on Tuesday, scheduled to premiere in Japan in Summer 2023. Kadokawa opened an official website for the movie, revealing the main staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser trailer.

The title marks the fifth installment in the franchise following Biohazard: Degeneration (Resident Evil: Degeneration), Biohazard: Damnation (Resident Evil: Damnation), Biohazard: Vendetta (Resident Evil: Vendetta), and Biohazard: Infinite Darkness (Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness).

Synopsis
D.S.O. agent Leon S. Kennedy is on a mission to rescue Dr. Antonio Taylor from kidnappers, when a mysterious woman thwarts his pursuit. Meanwhile, B.S.A.A. agent Chris Redfield is investigating a zombie outbreak in San Francisco, where the cause of the infection cannot be identified. The only thing the victims have in common is that they all visited Alcatraz Island recently. Following that clue, Chris and his team head to the island, where a new horror awaits them. oh shit i enjoy the Resident Evil 3DCG movies but im not a gamer

lessgoo i do like these CG movies, way more than the live-action resident evil movies as well

trailer looking fire but its the cheaper kind of 3DCG for sure like last time but im sure the action scenes will carry it again

So what about a Jill valentine,is it here?

I'd still go and watch those Milla Jovovich movies rather than these anime adaptations.

Well, finally! After Infinite Darkness, we finally got another Biohazard movie! It's good to see Jill Valentine again; I'm really looking forward with this!

So far, the only one worth mentioning was Vendetta. Rest were borderline unwatchable. At this point, I'm only interested to see if they can make at least one average movie. Which should not be that hard to do considering Biohazard/Resident Evil brand but, they keep failing over and over again...

So, both japanese and english voice actors are still same from game version or R.E Vendetta, right ?

Will probably beat the recent live action movie.
