So I've been banned from MAL-Badges, after spending nearly two years of my time and dedication to helping out, being the club's spokesperson, and planning for the revamp, it all goes down the fucking drain. What a joke the club has become. I advise everyone to stop using the feature and stop showing their support for the site and the club. We were promised that we will see changes come to the site, and nothing's been done for the past year. I doubt the site will be touched for the foreseeable future. If you're angry and annoyed about the lack of development, then good, you should be. |
| @Khalnayak2002 Japan has some of the most archaic censorship laws in the world for being a nation that has been highly influenced by western culture since the early 20th century. Note Japan isn't the worst where there is even places like South Korea where Pornography is completely illegal. This has effected not only Anime but Japanese culture where even Japans pornography is censored. The few things Japan can get away with showing without it being censored is boobs. Which is why it's easy to perceive that 90% of fanservice is focused on female breasts even if it's not. |

| Look at it this way; a lot of anime (especially those with some degrees of fanservice) will obviously cater to a male demographic. Now, which of these three do males typically do not have? Thighs. An ass. Or boobs. Unless you're an overweight blob, a male doesn't have boobs. Everyone has an ass and thighs. I think I rest my case there. It's mostly for eye candy anyway. There's inherently nothing wrong with having an ass or thigh fetish, but when it comes to boobs, they are in the minority there. Besides, having a fetish over a body part is normal anyway. People have a weird fetish for armpits or feet too. |
