| That was a huge mix of a lot of things, and it was honestly really enjoyable, even if it was a little predictable. Liked the song at the end though. This could be absolutely disgusting to watch, or could become one of my favourites, there’s probably not much in between for this. |

| I thought this series would be pretty similar to Lycoris Recoil from the previous season, but in Akihabara and at a maid cafe instead, going by the designs, settings and genre tags. Even with that in mind, this first left me really surprised, then had me bursting out laughing. While the likes of Chainsaw Man, My Hero Academia and other popular Shounen shows will be the main talking point of this season, I'm glad we have the likes of these oddballs shows, vibing away in a random corner, not giving a care in the world about what others think of itself, reminding us how stupidly crazy anime can be when it wants to be. XD The visuals and animation are very good, as it should be from P.A Works, which did make the bloody Ranko gun rampage sequence near the end of the episode even more bizarre, but hilarious at the same time. Just like with Uma Musume back in 2018, P.A works and CyGames do make for an entertaining pairing and I do hope Akiba Maid Wars can keep this crazy concoction work all throughout this season. =) |
| That was not what I expecting from this show. At all. But I'm not disappointed since it's not something entirely common. Either way, I was expecting something good since it's from PA Works, and it did not disappoint. |

| What the hell did I just watch?.... That was awesome! OP is definitely something xD. And of course the ED would be like that. Maybe it's a little early but, Ranko best girl! I love her already. Thank God she went with Nagomi, poor girl just wanted to be a maid and ended up in this mess. What a strong premiere. With just the visuals and synopsis, I don't think I would have expected something disturbingly funny, looking forward to more. |
