| The most peaceful city in the world, Tokyo is only able to be like that because of the secret police (Lycoris) that constantly monitors citizens, lies to them and has no problem assassinating citizens that disrupt the peace in broad daylight (how ironic). On top of that, the whole organization is made up of child hitmen that can just dodge bullets at close range. Only a few have a problem with such organization so far (Mizuki, but this might change). First 6-7 minutes felt denser than rest. The rest is SoL with some action cheesy action thrown in near the end. Visual wise, the show looks good, character designs look like KyoAni. No notable music scores in this episode. Despite the crap I've mentioned, I think it can turn out OK, so I'll give a few more episodes a shot. |
| This was a great first episode. The characters are pretty likable especially the lady with the glasses, she's my favourite so far. Hopefully they won't add any yuri or anything of the sort |

| Finally, a real cute anime girl with gun Anime, at least for me. I already like Chisato. with her quirky traits, yet she's so op that she can inhumanly dodge bullets. The best lycoris-something out there they said. kinda curious about what have her done in the past. probably some mind-blowing thing I'd say Can't wait for the next episode. |

| I think this series has so much potential, Love the character design, the girls all look super good and even the baddies have good looking designs. I wasn't sure what to expect but I don't think I was expecting it to be this action packed, not that I am complaining though! Extremely excited to see where this series goes I genuinely hope it continues to be a good watch! There needs to be more good original anime w/o manga |

Loved every bit of it, great characters all around, honestly loved the crazy premise and over the top violence, which was all somehow well-balanced with the more slice of life segments. | Incredible production quality as expected from A-1. I'm enjoying this a lot already. I love the premise, the characters are likable, and the VAs are top-tier. The ED is also a banger. There is a lot of attention to detail in how the characters handle guns, which is nice to see. Hopefully, this doesn't fly under the radar. |

| I almost wanted to drop 2 minutes in but stuck to the end and thought it was pretty ok. A lot of little things that bothered me, the technology, things going by too fast, the fact that short hair girl uses non-lethal bullets. It makes me want to go watch Gunslinger Girl instead. I will probably watch another episode because I'm curious to see where they're gonna go with it, but if it's what I'm expecting, I will probably give it a drop. I do like the designs. I won't be expecting any yuri, just action, dumb fun, and maybe some light drama between our main 2 girls. |

| laughed so hard at the powder. Well, coffee can be addicting so it is "sketchy". lol Chisato super high energy. However, I also liked her short moments of serious mode. When they were fighting the men in the car. ok, we have two cute girls doing shooting things. And one intelligent generic bad guy who looks like he came from James Bond movie. good start! looking forward to next week. |
| What's not to like about cute girls doing cool missions and using deadly guns? Sprinkle in some family atmosphere, a pinch of conspiracy and main duo's goofy compability and voila, here's your order. I'll continue with this series for sure. |

| Had some definite style to it, contrasting the classic morning routine with sudden assassinations. Also good to establish exactly who the villain is and how they relate to the main cast, gives it a nice leading idea for the next episode. Having the main lead be all against killing is somewhat cliché, but I imagine this may tie in to her backstory, which is always helpful. Some of the supporting cast were a tad tropey, though. An interesting start. Wondering what's up with Maki, they seem a complex fellow. |

| I mean, the premise is nice, even if the main plot itself (about Takina's struggle and the part that that lead her to be the sacrifice) is pretty boring. Chisato carries the show. This thing needs the gun-fu to be shown more, more cuts that actually show the motion. and less blood (I mean: even with a pistol I don't expect a head to look like they exploded unless she shot it at point blank. and she doesn't use the type to do so, either. Adding to the part that she's using non-lethal) Also Takina clearly hasn't been reading the manual. |
| The first episode is interesting to watch, it's completely opposite of the first pv featuring cafe girls. The concept is like most anime-themed F2P games, clearly combining the CGDCT theme with violence (gun), I think this could be a game like Takt.Op Destiny. |
| Interesting anime, I liked the production values and apparently there is some realism such as how Chisato holds her gun and such. I find Chisato and Takina cute and my guess is that Chisato will show Takina how to apprehend the bad guys without killing them. The one girl I found the most attractive is the one with the glasses, Ms. Mizuki, not sure if she's a MILF but damn she's gorgeous. I'll continue to watch as I'm a fan of SOL and I don't mind the action/violence either. |
| Hoping this leans more into the action and plot than the slice of life, cutesy CGDCT element of the coffee shop! Looking forward to seeing how both play out, but the first episode set up a lot of interesting storylines I'd really like to see intentionally explored. If this turns into a wholesome SoL with a splash of action like (the very enjoyable) Spy x Family, I'll be a wee bit disappointed. See y'all next week! |

| Not sure how strong non-lethal weapons are, so when Chisato easily shot through a car door while leaving people basically unharmed, that threw me off a bit, but otherwise I have no complaints, enjoyed this far more than Engage Kiss. I do have some concerns that the pacifist Chisato will eventually convince Takina to give up her cold-blooded attitude even though it's quite entertaining to see someone shoot before asking questions, but I can deal with that as long as the dynamic between them stay this good. |

| Man, I love going in blind to this sort of stuff. The best kind of whiplash ever. An original series with such a unique concept that sees some incredible execution behind just the right amount of suspension of disbelief. A-1 just might have a ringer on their hands this season! The introduction was stellar, the action full of impact and energy, and the characters brimming with life and personality. I love the duality of it so early on, the disparity that they have set up with the girls and how they so effortlessly address that and flip the concept you have of Lycoris on its head right away. Really though, a shoutout to the fight choreographer for that van scene. The movement of Chisato was incredible, all sorts of trained motions and stances throughout, but also plenty of flair. For example, the way she held her gun for close quarters fighting, some expert stuff, but then there's also the cool scenes of her with that rope-like gun. Some awesome balance between tactical stuff and badass things like Takina mowing down a bunch of arms dealers with a gun the size of her. Lycoris Recoil knows what it's up against this season and with being a new *and* original title it's fighting an up hill battle, but it's committed to a strong start with lots of potential! I'm really hopeful it'll hold on to what it showed this episode and continue a crazy dichotomy and really bring out the best of what it can manage this season! |

| Now THAT! Was FUN! Chisato's peppiness could have very easily been annoying but instead her energy was just plain infectious. Inoue's been treated like a problem child, but oddly, I find myself mostly on her side in regards to how she takes action aside from the letting her escort get bagged and dragged into a van bit. I'm already in love with the dynamic between their personalities as well, it was handled strikingly well, without worrying about forcing any unnecessary strife between them. Definitely gonna keep my eye on this one. |

| First episode was AMAZING!!! When i watch first trailer, i thought that it'll be a slice of life cafe anime and i said to myself that i'll skip this anime but second trailer made me hyped, and now, i'm waiting for episode 2 with a big hopes. |

| now that's a lot of gore for a show that revolves around under age highschool girls.. The action scenes were short but damn nice.. I'm hooked alright.. finally an anime with some hand-to-gun combat like John Wick etc and not some super natural stuff.. I have high hopes for this the cast also seems small but interesting |
| This was so fkng good. Quality animation and sound design, the attention to detail on stuff like the silencers and the way they hold the guns was really refreshing and nice. I got sold on this the moment I heard Chisato's voice, is just soo good! I wanna see (and hear) more from her! Takina was also good, but is obvious what girl will carry this. I hope this don't turn into a yuri trash drama with guns, it has a lot of potential for being one of the best animes from this year. |

This anime has a lot of potential, I will give it the 3 episodes rule like any other, but I'm hopefull it will be one of my favorite anime of the summer. It has everything I like, plus the animation and chara designs are top notch. I didn't mind the pacing, It made the 24 min feel like 10. But I guess it will slow down a bit from now on. |

And the entire premises of this anime's world is... Japan high school girls can go around killing anyone they deem dangerous even before the danger is acted upon. (sure we saw a bomb a knife... but there was the train guy that was simply just sitting there...) So this world's law is there's no "court system" anymore to trial, since dead people doesn't need a trial. (Perfect security is to kill them all, no opposition no danger... sponsered by CCP and Kremlin) (side-sponsered by Justice Lords of DC/U) ___ ___ ___ The art and animation is very good tho. ___ ___ ___ Edit: so the Protag MC is Chisato that is EU Cop that tends to talk first kill later. And the Antag MC is Takina that is NA Cop that shoot first, question later. Chisato wants to solve things with Talks first to get infos, but Takina doesn't give a fuck and just wants to kill everyone without even getting any info, even if that means using her friends or allies as sacrifices regardless if they die or not. |
