| That was a pretty normal, almost boring, episode but a very weak final. The reintroduction of the characters in the beginning, in case you just want to watch the last ep? Lol Wasnt Anya supposed to get a dog? Did I somehow watch some sort of special instead? |

| It was a very good episode! It had a good amount of suspense, a lot of funny and wholesome moments and overall it was just very entertaining and relaxing. I'm glad they ended part 1 off with an episode just as good as the first in my opinion. I am very excited for Part 2 in October! Until then, I will miss watching this show weekly. |

| This show had so much hype behind it and now that it's over I can say that it has exceeded my expectations by far. Such a fun and wholesome show! Yor blushing through the robot was <3. And another Hayamin best girl, I love her so much. Can't wait for the second cour! |

| So... I remember starting the manga a few years back, reading the first couple of volumes, but don't really clicking with it. I put it on hold cause I was very "meh" towards it. When I saw the adaptation was coming out I decided to check it out to revisit the story and BOY! I have no clue as to why I didn't really liked it when I read it, cause I absolutely loved this show from start to finish. Seriously, I'm still very surprised by this, what the hell was I thinking back then?? lmao... This is why I like giving stories a second chance. They might become a favorite lol I think I read the aquarium story back then cause I have vague memories of the events on this episode, but I didn't remember much. I love the main trio, just amazing characters! Can't wait for the next cour! |

| That was a strange ending to a season. Obviously it was a really enjoyable episode and everything... but it doesn't set up anything for a a season 2 or anything like that. The season just... ends. 9/10, great show. Can't give it a perfect 10/10 because the ending just felt lacking. |

| Proly the Best Animated series.... but because of likings, this didnt end as my Fav/Top One of the Season... Also Anya is clearly the hook of the series... but i feel the serie need more of Loid & Yor... PS... the ending didnt felt as ending... this is good but also bad. |

| A disappointing end for this first half despite the episode contents itself being entertaining enough. It just felt so out of place to have an end to a first half be that. The narration helped the episode in this regard but not enough. I understand that the episode was comprised of side stories but this is not how you end a first half. TenSura and Mushoku Tensei ended their first half much more cleanly than this. I'm not expecting some big reveal or wild cliff hanger because clearly those 2 and SpyxFamily are different genres but it was just handled better in those shows. It both felt like an end and a new beginning for them while the last episode of SpyxFamily just feels like a middle of the season episode. As for overall, I'm disappointed I bought into the hype for this show because I honestly would have enjoyed this more without any expectations. It happened with Demon Slayer as a whole (and especially with episode 19) and it happened here again. Yor's unique circumstances as an assassin are not brought into the foreground enough. All we get is occasional confirmation that yes she's still doing her assassin work. Speaking of Yor, making her as much of an airhead as she is just doesn't sit well with me. She's supposedly this amazing assassin, so amazing that she's never been targeted for her work (yet. Hopefully this changes in the second half). Yet she goes through a whole day not realizing she was bugged and has the gall to assault one of the nations secret police even if it was under false pretenses. At face value, this is fine. She values her work as an assassin and treats the fake family she forms with Loid and Anya as essential to her work. But in the same vein, assaulting one of the secret police while you're undercover has to be one of the stupidest rash responses ever for a professional assassin. Animefan8800 said it best. Yor just felt like a prop. Not even a sexy prop either imo. Unlike them however, I actually enjoyed Yuri's introduction to the anime because it represents a possible future conflict that is infinitely more entertaining than just Yor's "I can still smell the blood from yesterday's kill." Please do SOMETHING with the premise you gave her. Show us that Yor is more than just a premise. |
| I enjoyed this anime but it felt more like a SoL than an action/comedy type, not that I don't enjoy SoL but was expecting something a little different. It does sound like it will pick up in the 2nd half so that's good. Anya is the cutest girl of the season and it was nice seeing her help her dad in this episode by grabbing the bad guy and yelling that she was being kidnapped to get Yor's attention. Overall this was a very good anime, 8/10, and I'm looking forward to the 2nd half this fall. |
| I'm not too disappointed with it ending at an arbitrary spot with no goals achieved because I just found out about S2 already being announced. I hope we get more school episodes with best girl Becky then. |
| This was an enjoyable episode to end a great series! Another outing interrupted by a villainous scheme. With all 3 members of the forger family using their unique abilities to put an end to it. Anya deserves another stella for this. But a hero is better left unmasked. 10/10! |

| Oof what a weak ending to a great season. Not surprised to hear this episode was outsourced as it seems the staff writing for this episode has no idea who the characters are. Anya has always been trying to help Loid and progress the mission, she also hates being alone and abandoned, yet here she is threatening to run away from home and emotionally manipulating her parents. What is this? Caillou? |

| The last episode was both new and recap at same time, LOL ___ ___ ___ And looks like Loid is still doing Spy missions and Yor is still going around killing people LOL @ Loid walking super tired but still want to fix his "Mission" where he didn't spend enough time with Yor and Anya... Being the best spy is tough. And Anya read Loid's mind and decide to play along, LOL. And the Granny... SO INTENSE. ___ ___ ___ Anya's so hyper having fun at the Aquarium. Meanwhile Loid is slowly dying inside from all the stress... Poor dude tried to rest. And apparently Anya can even mind read Penguins... interesting... Anya apparently followed Loid and tried helping and got Yor to one shot the dude, LOL Loid and Anya: "WOW" ___ ___ ___ Hmm... seems like Loid's thought on the mission that used to be just for "for the mission" has now turned to "peace for the children" due to Anya. And then Anya tried to get into Loid and Yor's room... only to get scared and started crying. To fix, Loid and Yor decide to do "spy play" with Anya... LUL ___ ___ ___ I have a feeling that Anya is starting to get more and more deceptive since she can pretty much manipulate Loid and Yor into doing whatever she wants... |

| Thought it was a very good anime. Anyone who says otherwise after watching 12 episodes were in for the wrong ride. The dynamics of the family is what sells. There's nothing I dislike, it was a solid 8 but it could get even better depending on how Loid's spy governmental shit progresses. I hope it stays on the action-comedy mix up instead of adding some drama into it as we now know Yor's brother is a secret police. And as for the Forgers I cant help but want they all to reveal their secrets at some point, probably much later in the story. |

| Best anime of 2022 _______________ The anime is fantastic. The dub and sub versions are excellent. This is one of the few anime where I watched both. It's rare for me to re-watch anything, but this show had me watching the sub followed by the dub in the same week. I even plan on going back and binging the dub once it's finished. Best adaptation of 2022 __________________ As a manga reader the adaptation has exceeded my expectations. Part 2 of the anime is going to be even better. There are so many manga scenes I'm excited to see in part 2. |
